Wonder if this incident has any relation to Mayte’s disappearance. This was reported in Feb. 1981.

How did she came in possession of such an expensive coat? Did she work, came from a rich family, was she a mob girl?

$5,000 in 1981 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $16,923.60 today, an increase of $11,923.60 over 42 years.

Yes a report was made in Chester County. I'm not sure when. But she was reported missing by her parents and sisters to the sheriff's dept.

I still couldn't find a missing person's record on Namus or anywhere else. If Deborah is still missing she should be re-reported missing and entered. Technically she isn't a missing person if there isn't an official missing person's record.
