[11:37 a.m. UPDATE] A security guard hired for an event at the bar was one of those killed during a shooting early Sunday morning, according to those cleaning up the bar Sunday morning.

There was a party for alumni of Battery Creek High School at the bar. The bar’s owner had closed the venue back in December.

Something else I'm a bit bewildered about is that hundreds were there. This establishment isn't very large and the parking lot is small. plus, a northeastern was blowing through so there was plenty of rain and wind. Where were these people?
