NiShan Huff was shot to death inside her apartment, unit E-1 at Boulder Creek along Furman Hall Road, on June 7, 2006. Deputies said her boyfriend found her body in the kitchen with a gunshot wound to the head.

16 years and one week later - that's unbelievable, but I'm very glad for her family that she wasn't forgotten and they were finally able to solve that. The "GoUpstate.com" article was the type I love to read - honest, what was the person like, etc.

and so many people think cases go cold and that's it. I love hearing when cases like this get solved so many years later. I always hope it gives other grieving friends and families a bit of hope that isn't unreasonable to have...

Some background on Frank Rozier (full name Frank Alfonzo Rozier):

February 2002: Arrested and charged with possession of 28g (1oz) or less (originally charged with manufacture, distribution, possession with intent to distribute drugs). Pled guilty in February 2003 and sentenced to 30 days or $100.

July 2003: He was charged with possession of 28g (1 oz) or less of marijuana or 10g or less of hash or cocaine in Greenville County Summary Court. He was found guilty in a jury trial in August 2004. In October of that same year, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail or a $440.00 fine.

September 2003: Charged with unlawful turning, turning from wrong lane or improper signal in West Greenville Summary Court. In relation to the same incident, he was charged with operating uninsured motor vehicle - 1st offense and was ordered to pay $285 in fines and costs, which he paid in full.

September 2003: Charged with not having a temporary vehicle license (ordered to pay $85 in court costs), no proof of ownership ($233 in court costs), and operating motor vehicle without license in possession ($233 in court costs).

November 2003: Charged with speeding, more than 15 but less than 25 mph over the speed limit. Found guilty in a bench trial and fined $180.

November 2004: Charged with providing false information to law enforcement in West Greenville Summary Court. Found guilty in a bench trial in April 2005. Fined $465.

Charged with shoplifting, value $1,000 or less. Ordered to pay $258 in court costs.

He was also arrested in October 2004 and charged in Greenville General Sessions with manufacture, distribution, etc. methamphetamine or cocaine base. He posted a $10,000 surety bond. He then is reported to have posted a second surety bond of $7,500 in April 2005. He pled guilty and was sentenced to 284 days in March 2007.

January 2005: Arrested and charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol. Posted a $5,000 surety bail bond. He pled guilty to the charge in March 2007, and was sentenced to 284 days in jail.

May 2005: Ordered to vacate a residence in North Greenville Summary Court.

July 2005: Arrested and booked on a charge of possession of less than one gram of ice, crank, or crack cocaine - 1st offense. Posted $10,000 surety bond. Pled guilty in 2007 to one count of possession of less than one gram of meth or cocaine base, 2nd offense. Sentenced to 284 days and ordered to pay $231 in court costs.

April 2006: Arrested and booked on a charge of unlawful carrying of a pistol. Posted a $5,000 surety bail bond. Charged with a fire lane parking violation. Ordered to pay $258 in court costs.

April 2006: Arrested and booked on a charge of unlawful carrying of pistol. Posted a $5,000 surety bond. Pled guilty to the sale or delivery of pistol to, and possession by, certain persons unlawful, stolen pistol. In March 2007, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison and 2 years probation and $1,178 in court costs and fines. He also pled guilty to a second charge of unlawful carrying of pistol and was sentenced to an addition 284 days in prison.

April 2007: Charged with driving without a license - 1st offense. Ordered to pay $130 in court costs.

December 2007: Arrested and booked on charges of unlawful carrying of pistol and sale or delivery of pistol to, and possession by, certain persons unlawful, stolen pistol. Posted a $7,500 surety bond. Charges dismissed by the prosecutor in September 2008.

January 2014: Arrested on booked on a charge of possession, conceal, sell, or dispose of stolen vehicle, value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000. Posted a $2,500 bond. Found guilty in a jury trial of removing or affixing license plate to conceal or misrepresent identity of owner and was sentenced to time served and a $50 fine.

March 2015: Charged with failure to maintain proof of insurance in motor vehicle in West Greenville Summary Court. Fined $155. He was also charged with failure to obey traffic-control devices (fined $100); speeding, 10 mph or less over the speed limit (fined $81)
