Sgt Green has been an excellent witness IMO - CW did a great job on redirect regarding all of DH's efforts to undermine Green's professionalism, especially by pointing out that the "tire tracks" were just impressions in the dewy grass and not tracks in dirt/mud.

Graphic: Court documents reveal new details in Murdaugh murders

"According to the report, a cell phone in Paul Murdaugh’s back pocket had been removed and a blood stain was found inside the pocket. Kinsey said he believes the phone was taken out of Paul’s pocket by someone else after he was killed and the blood stain was produced during its retrieval."

This was all I could find about the phone being taken out of PM's pocket @BUF - but I do want to say I remember something about AM being the one that had taken it out of his pocket MOO
Ooooh this makes me really angry. We know he did this. Why mess with Paul's phone???
Ooops Alex you didn't know it was locked. You didn't have the code to get in did ya. You didn't know a blood stain was produced "during its retrieval" did ya.....

Harpo is making a point about the way they handled parts of the crime scene. As local/county PD, they need to check to see if anyone is alive and if the scene is secured. Otherwise, wait for SLED to arrive and process the crime scene, and they should be prepared to respond quickly with all the experts and equipment they need. They shouldn't have even allowed EMS to take the bodies until after SLED released them. SLED agents would have been the ones to enter the crime scene after dressing in boots, coveralls, etc. to avoid contamination.

Basing this on how the crime scenes were handled by LE for the Rhoden Family murders in Pike County, OH.

He pulled the triggers.

I can't believe Alex was standing there next to the shotgun, leaning against his car when LE arrived. Like no one would think it was suspicious if he was handling one of the murder weapons.

Yeah, a mistake they covered the bodies because of family being there. Not supposed to cover them. Doubtful it will make much difference. I'm sure they've learned not to do that again.

DH suggests to Sgt Green that the water surrounding PM's body is from a dog pen being washed out prior to the shooting.
By doing that isn't DH testifying? Shouldn't there been an objection from prosecutor?..

I believe there was an objection and it was sustained.

CW has Cpl. McDowell clarify that he saw no shell casings, bloody footprints, or any other evidence on the floor of the feed room. States that if he had seen any of those things, he would not have proceeded into the room and would have notified the detective on scene.

McDowell also confirms that PM's cell phone was lying on his back (PM was lying face down).

Isnt' DH supposed to be a big shot attorney? He's terrible but doing a fine job of making himself, and by association, his client, look foolish.

Not the location a phone would be or land when one is getting shot!, magically landing on his back as his body fell to the ground.

DH….did you have “baggy things” on your feet?

How about foot coverings??

He is so condescending and trying to put the responding officers in a defensive position for trying to preserve the crime scene. He's asking them questions that the investigators should answer not these first responders. Here comes the murder suicide theme again...

To me fumbling and stumbling with his questions, no smooth transition from one question to the next.

DH really just asked Cpl McDowell why LE was walking around in the grass looking for shell casings in the dark with flashlights instead of waiting until the morning.

This first responder cop is a saint. Keeping his cool and so professional with this <modsnip - subverting profanity filters> def' 'lawyer'. It's like the 'def lawyer' could really care less about 'winning' this at all.. he's just blathering along in his own head for 'fun' and because he can it seems to ME'.
