As long as AM has been shooting he can probably shot shot gun from the hip, I’ve seen it done.

Yes, but likely to build-in proof of ineffective counsel so Murdaugh can ask for a retrial later, if he's convicted.

Edite to add: Oh! DH is introducing the possibility that there were two shooters. I don't think that's going to fly, but who knows if someone on the jury might be easily confused?

As long as AM has been shooting he can probably shot shot gun from the hip, I’ve seen it done.

Done it myself and handling weapons for years but if one plans to kill someone and make sure their down I wouldn't want to be shooting from the hip like a scene off the Rifleman with Chuck Conners. Want to put the bead on em just in case they decide to run and so on IMO.

I'm surprised that the defence is asking the expert to add measurements and information to a diagram that clearly states "Not to scale". Measurements on a "not to scale" drawing seem inexact.

What's with DH using photos that the SLED agent has never seen before? Sounds suspicious, JMO. Was anyone not from LE taking photos of the crime scene that night? Normally, I'd say no, but this is an odd case.
