I can't imagine being in his position. Who among us would easily believe such a thing as your parent willingly killing your other parent and sibling. It's just so tragically unthinkable. BM's recorded conversations with AM in jail sounded very strained on his part, IMO. I think as the evidence/testimonies continue it will be harder and harder for BM to sit there. AJMO

Indeed trying to wrap your head around the thought of a family member doing such a monstrous thing. Many despite having support from family and other sources, never recover.

Live with the afternoon on Day 6 of the Alex Murdaugh Murder Trial. Special Agent Croft is still on the stand going over the crime scene location.

The court is playing defendant Alex Murdaugh's second interview with police... starting now.

"It's so bad, I did 'em so bad".. Did Alex Murdaugh confess when talking to law enforcement in his second interview? Or did he say 'they did him so bad'. Cross-examination will be interesting on this.... But the prosecution is going to argue this is a slipped confession.

I don't know if I would've mentioned this in my opening, especially if I thought the defense hadn't picked up on it yet. It gives them too much time to think about it. Having the jury hear it for the first time from Alex own mouth has a greater impact.

It also puts the defense in the position to have to argue whether it was 'I did' or 'they did'...I think there is room to argue either and ultimately the jury will decide how they interpret it. It's not clear-cut.

Good news...DH is not doing cross!

Bonus instead of watching <modsnip - name calling not allowed> DH. Going over birdshot, buckshot which I understand for the defense but in reality at the range the boy was shot, becomes null and void since gases discharged alone can do some damage then throw in the pellet's, result's stand for themselves.
