Really unbelievable to see a portrait of Judge Carmen Mullen, the judge who signed off on the extremely irregular Satterfield settlement, hanging behind Alex Murdaugh's head in today's hearing. Mullen is still a judge.

Does anybody think Alex will speak today, as in apologizing, sincerely, to his victims?

It's a very long list of financial fraud schemes, unfortunately! Counsel Waters explains them where a layperson can understand. AM is ruthless, but that's not anything new. We've heard this before. moo

Harpootlian fired some shots at the lawyers repping the victims. Saying they’re planning to address him and Griffin and using this opportunity to sell mugs, bobble heads etc. There’s no lack of ill-will between the lawyers on opposing sides of this case. I’m not sure why Harpootlian and Griffin are so antagonistic towards the community. Given what their client has admitted to it just seems a waste of energy for them to snipe at the lawyers. At the same time I do feel like a lot of the lawyers have been opportunistic. But for us observing it’s the kettle calling the pot black on either side. JMO
