SC - Raniya Wright, 5th grader dies from fight at school, Mar 2019

From that link:

"Stone said Wright had complained of headaches prior to the incident and visited a doctor seven times since February 2017."

Are they saying she visited a doctor seven (7) times for headaches? Or seven (7) times for other ailments. And, whether it was for headaches, or not, each time, is this not a disregard for HIPAA laws? I guess they can disregard a patient's privacy, when trying to prove the cause of death?

I don't know, but it sounds like they want this to go away.

Yeah, that family needs another (independent) autopsy completed. JMO of course.

SC 5th grader died of natural causes, no criminal charges to be filed, investigators say
If the family or their lawyer pays for another autopsy, it certainly will not be (independent). jmo. In every case I've followed here the family gets the result they want from their autopsy. BTW does anyone know if a family can have their own examiner present when the state performs an autopsy?

The autopsy should show any bump on the head.
There was no signs of trauma per the autopsy as far as I can tell.

South Carolina fifth-grader Raniya Wright died of natural causes, prosecutor says

This article says RW had seen a doctor six times for headaches. Mom has said RW had no medical problems. Who to believe.
If she was frequently seeing doctor for headaches I would think the doctor should have ordered a brain scan that presumably would have shown the malformation. I am assuming that she didn't have a brain scan as her family says they didn't know about the malformation.
