Popular Lowcountry DJ Richard "Box" Bachschmidt missing

Family and friends of Lowcountry DJ, Richard "Box" Bachschmidt, hope you can help bring him home.

Bachschmidt host of Charleston's "Box in the Morning" radio show was last seen at his home on James Island, Tuesday, June 26th.

He told his roommate that he would "be right back", left in his blue Honda Element and never returned.

Friends and family became worried when he failed to show up for meetings at work on Wednesday.

Missing Charleston radio personality 'Box' found dead in Mount Pleasant

While searching for Bachschmidt, Charleston County sheriff's deputies found his body in a vehicle parked in a wooded area off Belle Hall Parkway in Mount Pleasant, authorities said. The Coroner's Office said the cause of death is pending.
