Anderson County trial ongoing for woman accused of family murder - (Video included)

Through Tuesday’s testimony, we learned more about Vilardi’s relationship with her deceased family members.

“I’m actually pretty tired from the backlash of their insecurities,”
Pamela Scott Isabel, Mike Scott’s sister, said as she read 2015 messages she received from Amy Vilardi.

Vilardi described her troubled relationship with her mom, Cathy, and how she would no longer put up with behaviors she had previously tolerated.

“They won’t bully me or push me around ever again until..."

I totally agree with you, @joe jones. The witnesses revealing the bad relations between Amy and her mother and stepdad explains a lot. The reading of the texts Amy sent added a great deal to the circumstantial evidence that I hope will support a guilt verdict. It sounded like Amy had a deep seated resentment and seething growing anger towards them. Add that to Amy's & spouse needing money so badly explains it all.

On the fourth day of trial, jurors heard from Jackie Phillips, who testified she shared a jail cell with the defendant for a little more than a week at the Oconee County Detention Center in 2024.

[..]

“I was really kind of struck by her comment when she said they had corralled them into the living room and he did the deed. And I was like ‘so you shot them’, and she went like that,” said Phillips, with her right arm pointing out and left hand finger on her nose.

[..]

Jurors also heard from Anderson County forensic pathologist Dr. Kyle Shaw, who detailed the injuries sustained by each victim, including gunshot wounds, stab wounds, cuts and bruises.

[..]

The defense rested Thursday without calling additional witnesses. Closing arguments are expected Friday morning at 9 a.m. The judge explained the defense will have the final argument.

trial and verdict were pretty quick considering the magnitude of the crimes, 4 guilty verdicts must give the remaining family some peace, plus they get to take the house back that she had moved into after murdering her family in there,

There really was virtually no defense offered. Not really surprising because the evidence was pretty straight forward and despite what the defense tried to say a lot of it was not circumstantial.
I kinda expected her husband to testify against her, but, no matter, he will be going down soon enough.
The only question I have is why were they not charged earlier.

Im guessing Ross is polishing up his guilty plea tho any leverage that he had just went up in smoke. That was fast.

So happy for the family of the victims. Justice delayed is justice denied!

No doubt, Amy will get started on her appeal, and I'll keep adding the live recorded trial days as Fit News uploads them.
