COLUMBIA, S.C. (WMBF) – An investigation is underway into the death of a transgender woman in Columbia.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said Shandon Floyd’s body was found alone and unresponsive just before midnight on Tuesday in the 10000 block of Two Notch Road.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — WACH Fox News has obtained video of the car a Mullins woman was last seen driving hours before her body was found inside.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department (RCSD) confirmed the authenticity of the video that shows the black Chrysler 200 that Shandon Floyd, 20, was found dead in pulling up to the El Cheapo gas station on Percival Road on Thursday, November 9.

Officials with RCSD say they are working on a number of leads in the investigation.
