How do they know Sophia is dead, and where is Matteo??

They found so much blood that no one would have survived the injuries. Maybe they didn't find Matteo's blood.

So much of her blood was found they don't believe anyone would have survived the injury. I haven't read anywhere that they found any of Matteo's blood.

Ok, so they cannot prove Matteo was murdered so they are going after the Kidnapping Charge.
