Killer mom Susan Smith‘s former prison guard lover doesn’t think she should be released on parole, suggesting in a new interview “she’s not really learned anything” from her three decades of incarceration.
He was willing to admit that he messed around with her? Ewwwww.

I was thinking the same. Sometimes not getting attention isn’t bad. If I’m not mistaken I think he has done interviews before.

Here's an interview with David Smith. TL : DW - the saddest thing to me is that he doesn't have many memories of the boys. RIP, Michael and Alex.

She is a piece of work but so is the film maker who put money in her account- hopefully this will derail her plans for parole, which she should never have been eligible for in the first freaking place! The article states she is still eligible for parole!!!

While i agree, she was convicted just before some changes to the parole and life rules. She’s not going anywhere tho.

She agreed to provide the filmmaker with contact information for friends, family and victims, including her former husband,” a correction spokesperson said. “The filmmaker also deposited money into Smith’s account.”

Corrections inmates in South Carolina are not allowed to do telephone or in-person interviews, although they may write letters.

Guess she was trying to get a cash infusion prior to potentially being granted parole?

This woman just proves over and over again how sick and disgusting she is.

I haven’t talked to anybody local who thinks she has a chance and I’d imagine that sentiment will make its way into the parole hearing.

I have a feeling that this will be the shortest hearing ever.

I live in SC. I remember when this happened and I have followed the case ever since. I would be utterly shocked if they grant her parole - even before this happened with the filmmaker. I definitely don't see it happening now.

The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services confirmed that it received more than 130 letters regarding Smith’s parole bid.
Probably all 130 are protesting her possible parole. As I said before, she should never ever had the option for parole- what is wrong with a system that would parole a mother who murdered her children in the most horrible way possible. Is there any crime worse than what she did? not too many are worse!

@BrianEntin

I’m in South Carolina for Susan Smith’s Wednesday morning parole hearing. She’s in prison for the cold blooded 1994 murders of her two young sons — and she’s trying to get out.
