I was thinking-- you know Susan Smith hasn't really suffered enough in prison- she's been there 30 years, but she is relatively still young and still attractive, so during these 30 years, being the man crazy b----- that she is, she is still getting it on with guards and such--- she needs to grow old, wrinkled and ugly for 30 more years--- then she will begin to actually suffer as she should- she will no longer attract men---so she won't be acting out in that manner--- that will be very difficult for her--she needs to die in prison--- for the innocent lives she took and the lives she ruined---

Snipped.

I think she didn't want visitation. She wanted those boys gone, period.

Such a sad case. May she remain behind bars forever.

jmo
yeah but you can refuse visitation, you can't refuse child support. that remains an obligation no matter whether or not you see the kid

Lawyer is blaming it on mental health
I have mental health issues. Life was particularly tough when my kids were that age. I was having flashbacks of abuse. I wanted to die. Did I ever think about killing my kids? Nope, not even for a second. They were my reason to live.

I hate that effing b.... and her scum lawyer. Mental health, my a$$.

Here it comes -- proposing she gets out, to live with her brother, set up with mental health services.

She's working on an associates degree in.... Christian counseling.

I say she's doing fine in prison, nice structured environment where she can sign up for classes and stay put.

Is it just me or would others refuse to be counseled by someone who murdered her two little boys?
Seriously.

What are your qualifications, Ms. Smith? What made you get into counseling, Ms. Smith? "Oh, I killed my two sweet boys when they were 3 and 16 months. But you can trust me." Sick to my stomach thinking about that evil witch.

Moments after a parole board rejected Susan Smith’s bid for freedom on Wednesday, the dejected 53-year-old emotionally lashed out when returned to her prison cell.

“She was pissed,” said an onlooker at Leath Correctional Institution in Greenwood, South Carolina. “She was angry crying. Waving her hands, very agitated. It looked like she threw a tantrum.”

She states "God has forgiven her.". Well, the rest of society has definitely NOT forgiven her.

susan is an empty vessel, she has no real remorse, she doesn't even understand the concept except for how remorse pertains to herself for getting caught. she said she has learned that "other people" matter..well no she hasn't..she has no clue about other people unless they have something she wants and will give it. Susan will pretend you matter until she gets what she wants. empathy causes her discomfort , she can fake it but in reality she can't feel empathy..it's just fleeting..guilt is possible but only because she knows she is not normal...and so she feigns guilty feelings.

you can pray for her soul, but she should die in the slam.

Susan Smith, who is serving a life sentence in South Carolina for the 1994 murder of her two sons, had some ambitious if she was paroled and allowed to walk free — including trying to get on “Dancing with the Stars,” according to one of her former suitors.

Seriously?! Tone deaf. No one wants to see SS anywhere, unless it is in her cell, in prison, for life.

Dancing with the Stars? She's truly delulu, as the kids say. That conartist girl that went on this year was deeply unpopular; how popular does she think a child murderer would be (I'd hope that that would be a bridge too far even for tv execs though)

Susan Smith, who is serving a life sentence in South Carolina for the cold-blooded murder of her two sons, has stopped playing nice since she was denied parole — revealing that her previously sunny disposition was all just an act to get out, a source says.

Not surprised at all!

From your link, at her parole hearing:

“I am a Christian and I know that God has forgiven me,” Smith told the parole board, before begging the panel to “show the same kind of mercy.”

And after being refused parole;

“Last year, when she had a chance of getting out, she was really cooperative, helpful, even pleasant,” an employee of Leath Correctional Facility tells The Post.

“But now she’s the complete opposite. Just rude and b***** all the time. Overnight, she went from being a model prisoner to a complete nightmare.”

Kinda proves the parole board made the right decision. Psychopaths don’t change their spots. IMO Susan remains a danger to society and should never be allowed out of her cell.

She's probably more dangerous now than she was 30 years ago.

She certainly hasn't hit rock bottom, yet.

She has a long way to go before she should dare pretend she is repentant.

I would think her bravado fades as the next parole shot rolls around.
