MatryoshkaDoll, I am sorry for the loss of your friend.
May justice be swift.

Yes, MatryoshkaDoll, very sorry indeed. :(

It takes such a cold soul to kill the mother of your children. :(

Could y’all help me keep a look out for a live link for the new conference at 2pm?

"Bell said a 2 p.m. news conference has been set to reveal further details in this case.

WIS will stream that news conference live on our website and mobile app."

It takes a special 🤬🤬🤬 to kill his young children's mother. I'm grateful that the hunter noticed something suspicious and notified LE. Without him, her children might have ended up living with her alleged murderer and have been led to believe that she walked away from them willingly.

To Suzy's family and friends, I'm so sorry for your loss. :rose:

I know. I'm so sad for the kids. Holidays coming and they're parentless. God be with those babies.

Wow, that sounds like luck x 3 that this was resolved as quickly as it was.
A) LE found the car and evidence PRIOR to anyone even knowing Suzette was missing. They were already processing this information when her bf reported her missing.
B) The hunter finding the shallow grave prior to and after she was put in it :(
C ) Perp had a car accident in KY and that's how KY LE got onto him.
So lucky her killer was found quickly when you think of how many ways he could have gotten away for good.

IMO, the Sheriff should not have stated "crime of passion"

Yeah...digging the grave prior makes this look an awful lot like premeditated murder rather than a crime of passion.

I may have missed it, but I thought the hunter saw a shallow hole one day & the next day it was covered with brush. Did the presser say he dug the grave?

Terrible to think she may have been walked out to the death scene and known what was happening all along. I've driven that road 5 times, each summer, to go to the summer camp for special needs kids. It's very narrow. You can barely pass an oncoming vehicle. I wonder how he knew about that spot? Did he park his car nearby to dig a hole? I seems to remember the road seems to end with some possible parking for ten feet or so, but if you turn left, you continue on it to get to the camp a ways down. It seems like it might have been noticed by someone? Then again, I'm not sure if the camp is open during the school year or if there are other houses out there (I don't recall much else). Very disturbing.

Hole did not appear to have been dug by an animal. Earlier links state that the hole was circular in shape.

This link states that the hole was not dug by an animal.

"He visited the area prior to Thursday and noticed a sizable hole had been dug up, something that had not been done by an animal."

And what are the chances he drives along, stops and just happens to find a large hole perfect for concealing a body? Even if he didn't dig it, he knew it was there.

I'd like to know if Suzy was having problems with James since they divorced? Still trying to understand the timeline. Her boyfriend took the kids to school that morning , James came over after that and kidnapped and killed her? Crime of passion was mentioned, still don't understand motive.

Crime of passion, my eye. No crime of passion starts with a pre-dug grave.
