We are seeking the public's assistance with locating Thomas E. Hannah, Jr., who was reported missing from his home on Kershaw-Camden Hwy in Heath Springs on Sunday. He is 5'3" tall and 145 lbs. He has black/gray hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on is neck. He was last seen wearing dark blue sweat pants, a gray shirt and a red jacket with white sleeves. Thomas Edward Hannah, Jr., was reported missing Sunday, November 21, 2021. Hannah was last seen at his home at 4184 Kershaw Camden Highway in Heath Springs, South Carolina, around 1 p.m.

Authorities were notified around 6:30 p.m. Sunday and items believed to belong to Hannah were found along a railroad track behind Hannah's home.

HEATH SPRINGS, S.C. (WBTV) - Skeletal remains found near Lancaster, S.C. on Dec. 11 have been identified as those of a man who went missing a year ago.

Thomas Edward Hannah Jr., 59, was last seen Nov. 21, 2021. He had been seen the day before on railroad tracks near his home off Kershaw Camden Highway in Kershaw.

Deputies were called to Beaver Creek Road in Heath Springs after finding skeletal remains, which were later identified as Hannah’s.

County Coroner Karla Deese said Hannah’s medical conditions may have left him disoriented before falling victim to the elements and low temperatures.
