Very child like. Reminds me of the James Bulger murder. One of the boys who killed him wouldn't confess until his mother had reassured him that she would still love him no matter what.The difference being James' killers were only ten years old.

Thanks! I'm hoping someone will make a spreadsheet like Kadoober did in the James Worely possibles thread and we can move these less possibles off the main list. I was hesitant to look for victims from Columbia area but then I read somewhere he went to college at University of South Carolina. So he would be familiar with Columbia if that is true (I'm not sure if we can believe his resume or not).

Quoting myself because I just realized I was wrong about where he went to university. He went to the University of South Carolina Upstate which is in Spartanburg.

On his LinkedIn page, Kohlhepp brags that he “graduated top of [his] class,” from Central Arizona College where he studied computer science in 2001. From there, Kohlhepp studied business administration and marketing at the University of South Carolina Upstate, graduating in 2007.

Great job on the list, Gardener! IMO, Jamie Fraley is not a likely victim of his. She was local for me and almost 100% certainly killed by the last person to see her alive, who later died while hiding in his ex-girlfriend's car and waiting to kill her.

Just a random observation, but the header "Man confesses to 5 murders, 4 from a 2003 cold case" is not (yet) accurate. He has not confessed to killing Charlie Carver, yet--only the 4 Motorbike murders. He also has not yet been charged for Carver's murder.

Also, to clarify (there was early confusion based on erroneous news reports): TK was arrested on his acreage (Wofford Rd site in Woodruff), not at his home in Moore. He was served search warrant papers at the Wofford road address, KB was heard and rescued from the container, and TK was arrested on site there right after her discovery.

*A second body (as yet unidentified) also has been found and was being recovered yesterday (Sunday). Sheriff Wright stated he thought it was from one of the two gravesites pointed out to them by TK on Saturday.

I'm trying to figure out why he would be reporting to INDIANA as a sex offender. That is was I remember seeing in the threads anyway. If that is the case, I think we should check missing and homicides there as well.

He got his GED and an associates degree (Computer Science) in prison (not a full-fledged university education). They offer prisoners basic skills training in trades and such while incarcerated in the hopes of making them not have to resort to crime upon release.

Could be useful as part of a "mental" awareness space? Like locations of significance. He's obviously proud enough of them to list them and probably wants it to appear like he physically attended. But if there's no proof he traveled that much, not sure..

I would look for victims that were old and had alot of money stashed in their homes.

I would also look for missing drug meth/dealers that had lots of money.

I also wonder if he robbed the superbike business and if that was his main motive for the killings?

BBM. It was mentioned in one of the earlier threads that investigators from that case stated that robbery was not the motive. They seemed quite perplexed as to what the actual motive was at the time, because nothing seemed to fit the situation.

Hmm...good question. I don't know how the prison system works as far as letting inmates get degrees...was it a mail order course with no contact with any instructors/students or would it have been online where he might see video of instructors? My thought is that it's important to be aware of his connection to that school in AZ in case there are victims that also have some connection to the school. Someone he might have "befriended" through his studies and then harmed after getting out? Is that even possible though? IDK. He also might have met non-prison Alumni of the school online after he got out and left out of his conversations with them that he was in prison when he got his degree.

Came across this family killed in 2002. It would be a 3.5-4 hour drive from Spartanburg with a major hwy for easy travel. The truck reported by a witness sounds like it could be a landscaping vehicle and the sketch IMO looks like possibly a thinner TK with a description noting a weathered look -which to me reads like it could be someone who has been outside working.

I'm going to make a guess that he may have only checked in there since he was "traveling". I think this was possibly part of a meticulous plan. He noted September 6th that he had been off of work on a long weekend. A lot of agencies were closed on Monday the 5th for Labor Day which makes for a typical 3-day "long" weekend. However, after his post Wednesday, Aug 31, he didn't post anything more until that following Tuesday. My guess is he made arrangements stating he'd be in Indiana and had to check in there, which it appears he did on Thursday, September 1st, the day after his last post. It's only a 6 or 7 hour drive to Indiana.

Checking in there on September 1st would be a heck of an alibi in his mind and it would probably have worked if LE hadn't located KB alive and/or on his property.
