Scarlett Johansson

Funny how people see things differently. I regret the time and money I wasted renting Lost in Translation. It was a terribly boring movie and a total waste of Bill Murray's talent. My husband and I discussed turning it off halfway through but decided to wait and see if it got better. It didn't.

i think woody allen is brilliant, but i am disgusted by his personal life with sun-lee or whoever. i liked him when he was with louise lasser, diane keeton and mia farrow. but this latest has saddened me. however, i still enjoy some of his movies, although not all. we loved bullets over broadway with dianne wiest, (sp). i thought his early stuff, take the money and run, everything you wanted to know about sex, hannah and her sisters were all wonderful! i think zelig is his materpiece, certainly of his early work. have not seen enough of his later stuff to make that judgement.

i think scarlet johansson is beautiful. i enjoyed her so much in girl with the pearl earring. of course, colin firth made that movie (as he makes all his movies) very easy for me to watch.

I refuse to contribute to Woody Allen in any way, shape or form. He's nasty to me. But, in all honesty, I don't get the appeal of this girl. There soooo many beautiful actresses, but she's just not there in my opinion and I don't think she can act either, so I'll be skipping her movies.
Hey there Jeana,:)
I agree with you all the way.
I a talent search show that she was a judge on and she was nothing but self-centered snot.I think the show was "America's Most Talented Kids" or something like that.I only saw it a couple of times and did not watch it after that because of her "Diva Wannabe" attitude. She also gave off the vibes that she was putting down really good talent and hurting their feelings to stroke her ego.
She can in no way be compared to the women that she is being compared to.That is an insult to those women.

Respectfully,

I loved Hannah and her Sisters, I have never seen that one with Drew Barrymore and Edward Norton, I cannot think of the name!! I hate that. Anyways, I do not agree with his personal life either, and I felt terrible for Mia.

I disagree with his very existence. What he did to his daughter is why I wouldn't contribute to his lifestyle by watching anything he's done. The guy who directed the movie "Powder" is a pedophile, so I wouldn't watch that either. I don't think Tom Cruise is a pedophile, but since he's a jerk of the highest degree, I won't watch anything he's in either. My missing their movies probably won't have any affect on their wallets, but I can't justify supporting them in my own mind.
