Police have appealed for the public's help in tracing a woman missing from Caithness.

Christine Spencer was last seen on Monday August 2 in Wick on the north-east coast, police said.

In an appeal on Twitter on Sunday night (August 8), Officers from Police Scotland's Highlands and Islands division said they are concerned for her welfare and are "keen to trace her as soon as possible".

Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on the 101 non-emergency number, giving reference 1838 of August 8.

Caithness woman has now been missing for a week

Police officers in Caithness are appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 66-year-old Christine Spencer, who has been reported missing.

She was last seen on Monday, August 2, in Wick. Officers are concerned for her welfare and are keen to trace her as soon as possible.
