Unity triumphs over division and the 307-year-old Union is secured.

It's not my business, but I wish them all the best. My friend was just in Scotland in July and she is still raving about it's beauty. She also got to see the Queen, Prince Phillip and Prince William while there. They were making some appearance near her hotel and she thought it was cool to see them all in person.

I hope those that voted for the break can come to terms with the decision.

Over 1.6million people wanted change so it is a lot. Plenty of no voters have now said they wished they voted yes as 10 hours after the results milliband has publicly stated he is not backing any more powers and Cameron 'the vow is 'meaningless'
68% or more of the house have stated they will not back Cameron's proposal for us to get more powers.

Votes missing, electoral fraud, people being turned away being told they've already voted when they haven't...the list is endless.

They were never going to let us leave but they have picked a fight with the wrong people.

Alex salmond is a beacon of hope in everything he has done for us.

The poor voted to have more but the rich voted to be content with what they have.

71% of 16-17year old voted yes they are our future.

The Yes Scotland pro-independence aftermath
The whole day felt diseased. Stillborn, malformed, a thing of smirr and haar, hard words and soured dreams.
Dawn on Friday broke grey and uncertain; a false dawn for those who nurtured hopes of a new nation.

I'm so sorry Josie. I hope you see independence in your lifetime. I'm not a Scot, but my high school theme was, my husband is 3/8 Scottish, and a good friend of mine recently married someone from Glasgow. I heard Glasgow voted overwhelmingly for indepence. It seems stupid to me to want to remain under Britain's rule...

How Yes failed to win independence (Scotsman)

---
The reason for these strategic flaws in the Yes campaign is not hard to identify: it was the hubris of Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon – the belief that they could not be wrong or at least not be seen to be wrong. That Salmond has resigned is, as I argued here back in May, only right – but I cannot be alone in thinking that in banning Daily Mail, Daily Express, Daily Telegraph and Guardian journalists it was done gracelessly and without any genuine sense of responsibility. He remains in denial, for Salmond resignation is nothing other than a manoeuvre designed to preserve the career of his chief accomplice, Sturgeon.

No-one likes a sore loser and in saying at the weekend that No voters had been tricked, Salmond showed arrogant disrespect for the judgement of more than two million Scots. The SNP must change its victimhood culture or it will in time become a victim to the electorate.

Alex Salmond would seem in himself to define the term "sore loser."

Salmond: We don’t need referendum for independence (Scotsman)

---
Labour MSP James Kelly said: “Alex Salmond has created divisions in Scotland where there was none. Now when the nation should be healing, the retired Salmond seeks to divide Scotland further.

“He should be true to his word and accept the result. Let Scotland move on without him, rather than allow him to ferment division. Rather than speculate on how individuals voted, he should accept Scotland’s settled will. Instead of talking about tricks, he must accept that Scotland refused to be tricked into separation.”

“Scotland has spoken. Scotland will move on. The silent majority has spoken and it befits Salmond now to fall silent if he has any regard for his country at all.”

It's hardly salmonds fault. The person who orchestrated the better together campaign has came out today publicly stating that their whole campaign was based on scaremongering.

On Friday the no voters were rioting in my city centre attacking anyone who they thought looked like a no voter,a young man was stabbed in the neck and had life saving surgery for 4hours (i am part of a group that one of his friend is in too) another attacked by a hammer...why? They got what they wanted. They set fire to the building of the only newspaper that supported indy and wasn't biased.

Now in contrast. This was Sunday and it's grown since what we the45 as we like to be now known have done. Thousands of items donated for the glasgow foodbanks but I forgot it's the yes voters who were rioting Friday according to the media.

We have a chance for indy in another 2 years if everything else we have planned works out.
