Police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing Canton teenager.

Kiernan Jordan, 16, was last seen by the First State Bank and Trust downtown Tuesday afternoon. Canton Police are asking for any tips regarding her location. Tips can be anonymous and turned in at 605-987-5612.

A family member posted to Facebook that Jordan has recently cut her hair to shoulder length and dyed it purple. She had been wearing a white cream top, a hip pack and blue jeans. She drives a 2002 Chevy Impala. She may have Omaha connections.

Family is also concerned because she doesn't have necessary medication with her.

CANTON, S.D. (KELO.Com) - A Canton family is on edge as they search for 16 year old Kiernan Jordan.

Her family says the teen was last spotted at the First Bank and Trust in downtown Canton. Jordan reportedly withdrew money from her account and got into a dark vehicle.

A Sioux Falls hair stylist said Jordan did visit her, and she cut 10 inches off her air and dyed it purple. The stylist said she was used a false name and was wearing a white top and blue jeans at the time.

Her stepfather says Jordan walked out after an argument with her mother and councilor. It's believed she could be on her way to the Omaha area.

Any tips on her whereabouts can be called in to the Canton Police Department at 605-987-5612.

Kiernan Jordan was last seen on Aug. 29 when she became upset and left an appointment in Sioux Falls without her ID, debit card or cell phone. A note was also left behind, but the contents of the note are unknown.
Argus911: Canton police looking for missing 16-year-old
Jordan has to take medication which she doesn’t have with her. She did have access to cash and her vehicle. However, her vehicle was found in Omaha, Neb., on Aug. 31, with personal items inside.
Jordan is considered to be an endangered runaway.
The missing teen is described as 5-foot-4, 140 pounds, with blue eyes and dark brown that has been dyed purple.
