Search and rescue operation for US military aircraft under way off Queensland coast

A SEARCH and rescue operation is reportedly under way off the coast after a ‘mishap’ involving a US Marine Corps aircraft.


The MV-22B “Osprey” helicopter is crewed by four people and can carry up to 24 troops seated or 32 troops with the floor space loaded.
