When I hear of the types of that he was collecting(not the child ) and then child gets thrown into the mix, for some reason my mind doesn't go to teenager child . I feel the that they have determined to be child might be younger than what may be marginally mistaken for under 18. This is just an intuitive reaction I have had since the beginning. Deviant is a very strong word to describe what they found on that first computer.

Again I just reacted viscerally to the news. And my mind didn't go to teenager. So yes. Because when I hear bestiality and I hear deviant I really don't think there are boundaries at all. I pray I am wrong.

LE had a search warrant for Shawn's body, it was assumed they needed to ID something on his actual body.
It has been stated that LE were looking for something that he always had with him, they didn't find it.
Since they didn't find it we can pretty much figure out it wasn't a body part that needed to be seen.

LE were looking for SA to do a body search and I was thinking of the possibility of a body piercing/s OUCH, in a more private area, such as nipple or ahhmm other places. That would be something that would show in a picture and could be removed. The news report did say something that he had on him and with him. Kinda hard to phrase that one without giving it away.

I go to the beach with my kiddies and I cannot believe what the younger generation (teens, 20-30) is doing to their bodies. Tattoos, piercings, stretching their earlobes (gag). Sorry but I find all of the above very distateful even tho my DD has her bellybutton pierced, small nose piercing and a peace sign the size of a quarter on her ankle. She knows I do not like that stuff, but if that's as bizarre as it gets, I guess I should be thankful. They claim it's an expression of individuality, but not when everyone else is doing it, it's not. JMO. Don't do any of it and then you'll be unique lol.

I have not caught up yet, and I'm sure someone has found the affidavit from the most resent search, but just in case, here it is again.

Also, some of these creepy people will cut off or blur out faces so that the victims or perps cannot be identified. Without faces that makes it so difficult for LE, especially when the child is say 13 to 17. I could be very hard to identify their age. Some girls mature very young.

OT I was talking to my kiddies this eve about when I was growing up, how we feared but had total respect for our LE. Nowadays kids thumb their noses at LE and their parents. I'm very disappointed in today's youth in some ways. JMHO. I pray for positive changes.

Is there going to be a GJ tomorrow, 24th? LE may be waiting for that. I'm sure they don't want to mess anything up, dot all i's and cross all t's to make sure SA and/or BD don't have a leg to stand on. I don't blame them either. They have been criticize by many for not doing their job. I think their are going to do a slam dunk case here. That is why they are not doing an immediate arrest, plus they are also working with a missing child's case also.

GO LE!! You've got my vote. So many people criticized our LE also on the Victoria S case here in Canada, but I feel they did a wonderful job. One is paying her dues and the other is coming up hopefully this year or early next year for trial. Just because LE doesn't share a lot of info, doesn't mean they are not doing their jobs. They are protecting the case. With so many working on a case, some have got to get it right. GO LE and THANK YOU for your dedication to your citizens wherever you are. :seeya::great:

LE has computer resources that identify known victims of CP. They run the images though the programs or clearinghouses and unless the Child victim has not been recovered or no photos of the victims have ever been found they are able to say if it was new undiscovered CP or old existing CP and know where the recovered children are. FWIW.

Waayyy back someone had asked whether SA was searched at BD's or where. This report claims he was searched at BD's. The last sentence according to Toombs sounds like BD has lied to them in the past, don't you think? AND to the media or anyone else who was listening, I would say. Also sounds like LE had to go searching for SA??? (underlined) Still catching up and sorry if this has been clarified.


Officers later found Adkins at Dunn's residence where he was searched but not arrested. Officers arrested Dunn after she denied that Adkins was there and also found the drugs while searching her house, Toombs said.

"She did lie to a police officer whenever he (Shawn Adkins) was there," Toombs said.

The computer where the CP was found was his mothers computer, in the slack space, not his grandmothers.
There was child found in the slack space in the computer retrieved from Shawn Adkins mothers computer.

Yes I understand that it was the mom's that they checked into evidence when she wanted it back..it was analyzed by this ofcr in affidavit along with the FBI.. I just called it "slack space" that the same ofcr located the image that appeared to be child on gram's computer..main reason is because he refers to it being found in the deleted files of gram's computer specifically Shawn's deleted email files..

I'm not knowledgeable on how easily accessible this "slack space" is to find on a computer..and possibly I did wrongly assume these deleted files were also from the "slack space".. Actually the main reason that I believed it was from that same area of the pc as mom's pc{i.e. "slack space"}is because for the ofcr to have gotten access to Shawn's email and just went into his deleted history from there was because that would mean he'd have had the password to get into his acct..

Since we have found pornographic images on every device that we have been able to search to which SA had access and child on 2 computers to which SA had access, it is more than probable that there are child pornographic images on the computers and any other devices capable of storing digital media located in the house at...

They are not done searching or haven't even started the electronics they have retrieved yet. The affidavit is stating that everything they have found is from SA's mom's computer, SA's gramma's computer search 'only' done at the house. I'm sure taken in for a more thorough search, SA's cellphone that LE looked at and then SA deleted stuff. But they eventually confiscated from him, memory stick found in BD's house, and I think that's about all. They are just reporting on what was taken and observed there, at SA's gramma's on Thursday.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think they are done looking at everything yet. Matter of fact, I would say they haven't looked at anything in depth from the house.

Check out the date at the bottom of the affidavit. March 16th which was Wednesday. The search was conducted the on the 17th, Thursday and according to the fax printout across the top, it was faxed March 18, 12:21pm. If this was a search warrant then I could see the dates being as they are, but not an affidavit. Just wondering why is he signing off on this on the 16th???:waitasec::waitasec: The search wasn't done until late on the 17th.

While there might be only one image of child on RN's computer, it could turn out to be a very important one.

The affadavit says "images of child " were found in the slack space of SA's mother's computer. It goes on to explain that slack space is unallocated space where deleted files are stored. This is the unused portion of a disk drive that catches "debris", scattered bits and pieces of discarded files. These images were not associated with an e-mail account.

Another image of child was found on RN's computer. This image was associated with SA's e-mail account. And, it appeared to match at least one of the images found on SA's mother's computer. This finding is significant because it links the images on SA's mother's computer to SA, thereby furthering the child investigation. Whether it will lead to answers regarding Hailey remains to be seen. :twocents:
