I have a new Granddaughter. KayLee ReAnn born 07/26/06 7lbs 8oz. 20inches

This is the reason that I have not been contributing much lately.

Life will be getting back to normal around here soon and I will be able to get back to helping with the search for Anna.

The little precious life is just adorable and her name fits her perfectly. I pray that she will be a happy and healthy child, it appears she will certainly have all of the love she will need.:blowkiss:

If anyone has access to Ancestry.com (or any other means of uncovering marriage records in California), please PM or email me. There is something I want to research before I make the next step in our hunt. Thanks!

I believe it has been closed because some posters were misbehaving and apparantly causing trouble and uneeded work for mods, the mods were tired of the BS...can't blame them. Can't we all just get along????? Hopefully, things will cool off and they we reopen for us. It's up to the mods, they know best.

I am grateful that the posters here have been nothing but great. With the demise of both the Delia Cly and now the Sharon Marshall threads, let me state: If there are any issues that arise here on this thread that are of concern to anyone, please email me personally and I will respectfully answer anyone's questions and/or issues. We have avoided the kind of nonsense that has occured on some of the threads on Websleuths and I truely wish to keep it that way. We have stayed focus on the hunt for Anna and have made progress toward finding her. It is a testament to the integrity and maturity of the researchers here that we have accomplished as much as we have.

One of the issues on both closed forums is that certain posters felt that relevant information was not being posted and only shared in PM's between a few "chosen" researchers. There are some aspects of this search that have purposely been kept out of the forum. This is not done to create an elite class of members here, but to allow some investigation that could not occur with total transparency. This allows us to look into backgrounds of people who are not "suspects", yet their circumstances dictate that they should be examined closer, without having those details exposed to the public at large. I would ask for your understanding on this point and your trust that information will be shared when it is appropriate. One researcher here is looking into a very promising potential match for Anna from adoption websites, while I am looking into the background of someone who was in a position to be involved in Anna's disappearance that has not been thoroughly investigated in the past. Both leads may (and probably will) turn out to be false, and as a result, we do not want to post too much information (and speculation) before we truely know what the facts are. We are dealing with real people who deserve their privacy until the facts warrant otherwise.

Excellent Post! Thank you for explaining for those that don't understand the need for private PMing/emails sometimes....you explained it perfectly.

I am so used to the private PM's, sometimes I'm involved, sometimes not, that I had not even thought of it 'hurting' the feelings of other posters that don't understand the 'why's' of it. And when I see some of you here and on other threads are doing it (discussing private PM's and emails), I understand w/o 2nd thought...I don't get upset I wasn't included, I get excited knowing work is being done!!!! But... I never thought of the fact that other posters may not understand. Did I just say the same thing over and over :waitasec:

Great Post Dr Doogie!....BTW, check your PM...hehe joking everyone!

Thank you for explaining that Dr.Doogie. You did it very well. I hope that the two "possible leads" develope into something that might lead us to Anna, which is the whole point of us being here.

You and me both! LOL! Sometimes it gets my curiosity factor revving high, but I'm patient and eventually it's explained one way or another. I just figure they'll let us know what they can, when they can... or at least they'd better! LOL!

Thank you, Dr. Doogie for your very thorogh explaination...although I do not contribute often, as I am not nearly skilled enough to quit emabrassing myself:o I do look for things all the time that may/may not be of help, and I feel very confident that things that go on 'behind the scenes' are for very good reason.

Wow thanks for the update Doogie! I have my fingers and toes crossed.

I also agree with Dr Doogie as far as the posters here in Anna's forum have been nothing but great!

The privacy issue is a wonderful idea especially after the way Mother Hen reacted when she found out we were looking at her genealogy. What more can someone ask for a free genealogy search?

I hope Annasmom gets some useful information from the passport office. I'm trying to find a reason to go overseas! lol

Regarding PMs I agree, that having the privacy issue available is a good idea and Mother Hen is a great example. I've gotten few pms/emails from another poster on the Sharon Marshall thread but nothing 'special' that hasn't been posted on the thread. Once I had to give someone's phone number so they could call them, which I clearly wouldnt post on the thread and the rest was getting pictures to post them on the thread. But I can understand why people would get frustrated because they've worked so hard on the case and they want everything out in the open. I would be the same way too. People here have been amazing.

I did some researching on newspaper archives and found Margaret Kukoda's parents names and obituarys that also list her siblings names. Doogie, do you have them, if not do you want me to post pictures of the obituarys on here?

I would think the rule of thumb would be if they are deceased, we should be able to post the information here on the forum. :twocents:

I agree, especially since it was an obituary designed to publicly announce their passing. When information is disseminated for the purpose of "spreading the word" about something, it becomes public information (are you listening, Mother Hen?).

GraceBlue, I'm hoping you will post these today.

Maybe there are some siblings still living and maybe just maybe we will luck up and they will know something about her involved with George. Wouldn't that be great!
