Hope ya'll don't mind rehashing a couple of things...about the letter...or the whatever it was, the plan...someone had posted they think because he was a doctor some of the stuff was medical terms, or abbrev's..this makes sense, because c w/line is with and ap could be after...ap could be alot of things, L only comes up left in med. term.....ACE, I believe it is Anna Christian Eifee and I haven't seen anyone say that?


Dr. Doogie, can you scan and post the actual letter, or maybe a link I missed?

I haven't seen anything else mentioned about BFH, is this in another thread, or nothing of interest found?

I just finished reading this 1 thread, have lots more to read....

Soooo, the synanon connections is for sure NOT Anna?

I was so convinced that pic was of Anna, and the timing of her coming to Synanon I thougth lined up, I could be wrong.

There is lots of stuff, a lot of it is mundane such as letters to family and receipts - most of it from long before the period around Anna's disappearance. There does seem to be a gap in info from right around January 1973 (which is suspicious to me). I continue to examine it as time allows.

The name of the girl and her history checked out as not being Anna. I suspect that the date on the picture was mismarked and was from a couple years later than indicated.

Those symbols are the medical (shorthand) terminology for "with" and "after". He was a doctor. I'm sure that's what they meant. I used to work in the medical industry. We have deduced that ACE is Anna Christian Eifee. The link to the note was posted earlier.

I have been working with Annsmom in preparing a PDF version of her manuscript of "Searching For Anna", a diary of all of the events surrounding Anna's disappearance. We hope to have it available within a week. We are hoping that the manuscript will eventually be published by a regular publishing company as a "for sale" book, but the information in it is valuable to all of us here at WS, so the PDF version will be available to members here at no charge. Our goal here is to spread the word about Anna - not make a profit.

Once the final PDF is ready for distribution, I will start a new thread with specific ordering instructions.

Annasmom, I have been searching many of the adoptee forums to see if there is any chance Anna could be posting on them. What is the name of the hospital where Anna was born, and what county was it in? I think who ever took her probably could have just given her the name of the hospital where she was born but may have not given her any other correct info. I am searching for any female who was born around the same time frame from Ca. Thanks

University of California-Moffitt Hospital in San Francisco County, but you might want to check with Doogie; I think he already got a list of females born around the same time in San Francisco.

I'm thinking that perhaps the real facts could have been switched with perhaps facts that he would have been familiar with such as naming the hospital/town where he was born, or maybe information that would have matched up with the former nurse who the other had felt she was the reincarnation of. I could be totally off base here but it seems to me that Anna would not have been told the truth when they would have wanted that hidden from everyone.

Your scenario is probably the most likely, but since we only have the information that is factual, we are starting there first. I believe that when we do find out what happened to Anna, she will probably been told a completely false set of "facts". One speculation that a friend of mine tossed out is not that she was "adopted", but was told that Annasmom and Joe Ford had "stolen" her from them (the "rightful" parents). This would preclude her from ever searching for her family because the new family were supposedly the "birth-parents".

There has never been national media exposure. There was local attention at the time of her disappearance (print and TV). There also was an article published in the Sunday SF Chronicle/Examiner written by Annasmom a couple of years after the disappearance.

Unfortunately, this all occured in a time when there were no Amber Alerts, no America's Most Wanted, no NCMEC and no internet communities such as Websleuths. Today, people in Maine would know about a missing child in California within hours. Back then, it was considered "local" news - a couple of articles, and then move on to the next story.

Annasmom and myself are hoping that the publishing of the manuscript will light a spark of a new round of media interest. Armed with the new information that we here at WS have generated and the power of the manuscript, we may finally get the attention that the case needs.

The book will put a personal twist on the story that the media can use. I hate the idea of waiting, but it may be best to have at least the PDF version of the book in hand before we contact the media. We should have it ready to go out to WSers this week.

Was this play open to the public? Just a thought, is it possible the couple in the car noticed Anna on stage? Would anyone notice if GW was in the audience? I doubt he would have been there, not wanting to be in her life at all. I'm sure she was as cute as a button!
