Doogie, I'm so excited that the article will soon be appearing and can't wait to see the newspaper's "take" on things. This is an exciting development in the case and will hopefully bring some much needed attention to the case.

Thinking of Anna and her mom and family and Doogie and everyone working so hard on trying to bring Anna home and just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers and heart. Your strength and determination is inspiring and I hope you soon have answers you need. :blowkiss:

Thank you so much for this, and thank you for telling us about your fascinating dream. I'll answer each and every point in the dream later on today. As you probably know, Doogie and I were at the exact place Anna was last seen only Saturday, and at the moment we are waiting for the Half Moon Bay Review's story and photographs to come out. The link will be www.hmbreview.com/

Oops! Nope, I didn't know. I have been a bit busy this summer and lost focus on your search (although I have never stopped thinking about you and Anna), and just now trying to catch up. So much has happened and this latest is really exciting! I'm so happy you and Doogie got to get together! How exciting for you both.

Don't worry about the dream too much. I know you are very busy and it was just a dream afterall and admittedly I have been thinking much about Anna especially reading the news lately so it could just be an overactive subconcious. I just had to put it down while it was fresh and who knows .. it might spark some idea for someone else. I do see you moved from the original address and you have recently been back. I am curious if you are living in the area and been around the original location at all. Do any of your other family members still live there .. I just feel she is close to you. Weird I know.

I will be watching for the story. You are in HMB now? Have you shopped? Been in stores there? Coffee shops. Just watched people? Curious, but probably too intrusive, do you think you would recognize Anna? What if there was something totally unsuspected about her like she is really heavyset or handicapped or changed her hair color or has a lifestyle different then you would have hoped for her? Would you not want to recognize her then? Subconciously of course.

I have some hard questions for Doogie too. =( But, about Craig. Did the divorce papers say the reason for his divorce? What city did he live in at the time? Where was the divorce filed? Did he verify there is no death certificate for Craig's daughter? Where is the ex-wife now? Where is Craig now? Do you still have contact with him? I want to look at something myself to do with him and need last name and childs name but I am still reading so I will probably come across it on a thread yet.

I'm really behind. Sorry.

~big hugs for you both~ Enjoy your time together and go shopping, have dinner, coffee and that sort of thing. You have waited so long for answers and mine can certainly wait!

The article seems pretty good to me. I believe that the reporter really strived for accuracy with a very complex story on a short deadline. I think he did a great job.

Wonderful article! I am impressed with how much information the reporter threw in considering the article is not terribly long. Way to go Doogie and Annasmom! I hope people start calling with information!!

I didn't want to do this myself as I don't want to step on any toes, but...

There is a link on the article you can click to talk about the article. I suggest someone do that and put a link to Websleuths and suggest discussion be brought to this thread. Put link to this thread.

The newspaper discussion area doesn't seem to seperate the stories people are talking about so it looks pretty convoluted, whereas discussion here can be kept more orderly (and permanently) ... maybe some new people will come help who have a local perspective.

Just an idea.

It was, indeed a well written piece, especially considering the time constraints.
Anyone wishing to express their gratitude to Marc, the reporter, for helping to renew interest in Anna's disappearance may do so through his email link at the beginning of his story. I am sure that he would be most grateful for the feedback.

What an absolutely wonderful story. Marc, the reporter, did an excellent job. His accuracy, considering the complexity of it, was just short of astounding. I pray that the story generates renewed interest in Anna and brings new clues that will assist in the search for Anna. A job well done, Annasmom and Doogie!

I missed that link! I will send a note to him. What a wonderful job he did considering how complex a story that is about Waters/Brody. It shows he really cares. I have to say again that I think anyone who knows Anna through her mom will care and care deeply. This story needs to get out there. This reporter recognized that and came through.

Awesome article, awesome work Doogie and Annasmom! Praying for any kind of lead to come from this being printed and the pictures. Also praying more join in with the search and see the WS link and come and help......but help how??? What can we do for you all??

Again, we ask, I know we have several sleuthers combing the adoption sites, what else can we do?

Please let us know if there is something you 2 (or anyone!) can think of that we could be working on. Right now, praying is what I'm doin'!

Sending love to you both and Anna!

ETA....you know how the same story shows up in paper after paper??? Couldn't we send this article link to other local papers in the area? See if they too want to pick up this story?

Nother question...how about a mailing label for Anna? With her pic then/composite now and phone # for leads?

I work for a trucking company and put labels of missing children on the truckers pay checks each week. Every 2 weeks I choose another child to put on the envelopes. They get in hands all over the USA, the mail carriers, the mail sorters, the truck drivers, etc. Example of Mailing Labels

Also, if Annasmom would contact Kelly Jolkowski of Project Jason http://www.projectjason.org/ (see his (Jason's) thread in my siggy) she could ask for Anna to be added to 18 Wheel Angels program and also adopt a missing person and we could get her flyers/pics/story in hands we can't access, drivers who are traveling and will post them about for us. (I am a volunteer for Project Jason and 18 Wheel Angels)...just a thought....havent' even looked before posting, is Anna already in these programs?

Hi Christine! Thanks for your posts. Vanished Children's Alliance does indeed have a mailing label with Anna's picture on it. I'll have to write them and see if they'll give me some. Kelly did put a story about Anna in her magazine and sent me several copies several months back...what a dedicated woman.

Just ask them for a link, or send me the link if you know where it is on their website, they are very easy to make on your own...just would like to know what they have on theirs...it's prolly an easy save template that any of us can print.

Yes, Kelly is an incredible woman!

PS, you are too!
