It’s becoming quite clear that nobody here or elsewhere, is basing their opinions on truth or fact. The only thing anyone seems to be concerned with is defending their beloved democrat or republican (whichever one you were brainwashed to bow down to).

Because if you were raised conservative, only a Democrat could be a pedophile....

It is actually quite bizarre to sit back and watch what is happening.

Plenty of Democrats on this board and elsewhere have condemned Franken.

You are right. As a neutral person who doesn’t align themselves with any political party, it certainly seems to be the conservative types who are more unwilling to condemn their own, pedophile or not......they do not seem to care. Seems they would choose a pedophile or rapist over a snowflake any day of the week.

But it does go both ways.

Extremely disturbing.

Oh well since the accused says the accuser is lying I guess there's nothing to see here.

Your comment made me literally laugh out loud, Tawny! [emoji23] I needed a little sardonic humor right now, especially reading the contents of threads with topics like this one.

Thank you.

Breaking news on CNN--Leigh Corfman's friend, Betsy Davis, is interviewed. Corfman told Davis at the time when she was 14 years old of Moore's abuse.

Dear Websleuths Members,

Please do not go off topic.

This thread is not about who is conserative and who is not or which party has more perverts. No need to discuss which newspaper you believe lies.

I really want to keep this thread open but I will close it in a heartbeat if I have to come and remove a bunch of posts.

Please stick to the topic at hand.

Can't they have an expert used for ink? Can't they tell if it was written 40 years ago, or a month ago? They have experts for everything else, just wondering.

The election isn't dependent on ink in yearbooks but on voter turnout. jmo

Of course turnout is vital, that is the key. But since everyone is talking about the yearbook, I added my two cents. I didn't have to look in my crystal ball to see that Moore is probably going to win, actually I believe he will win.

Well, there are two issues, I suppose. One is the accusation, which might include analyzing the ink (I find the whole thing tedious, but if you're fighting an accusation, that's what you need to do.)

The other issue is whether the people in the state want this particular candidate to represent them in the Senate or whether they don't.

Just a reminder for all of us, no matter what state, what office is up for election...GET OUT AND VOTE. Do not stay home. Seriously.

Yes, they can, just like they can tell the age of petroglyphs or a DaVinci drawing. And, I think since this detail was left out, one question is; was the date and location added to the year book 40 years ago, or last month?

It makes a difference when going up before the world with Gloria Allred behind an accusation. If it was added recently, not disclosed, it leaves the allegation wide open to understandable scrutiny.

I annotated my year books, I had scrapbooks, and hand written diarys, and even an autograph book back in the 60's/70's, so if the date and location was added back then to Johnson's year book that does not strike me as unusual, at all.

That's true, but it might be very important regarding the voracity of testimony, the thorough coorboration and research of allegations in a Congressional Ethics Hearing which is where this is headed if Moore wins.

I am surprised Allred missed this detail. I do believe her motive was to add to and back up the WaPo Report.
