The second grader said she saw something red when she was in the car with her uncle.

"She's like 'that building's on fire' and I look over and sure enough that building's on fire," [her uncle said]

She was found after she went missing in July 2025, but now she is missing again as of January 11, 2026 from the Village of Pewaukee. Police consider her to be endangered.

Serenity was last seen on doorbell video telling her mother she was stepping out to give a friend a vape, promising, "I am coming back, I just, like, don't want you to freak out. I am going to give my friend their vape."

Pewaukee police have now classified Serenity as missing and endangered. Her phone last pinged in Sussex on Sunday night, but authorities believe she may be in the village of Howard, near Green Bay, though they are unsure of her current whereabouts or who she might be with.

Serenity's aunt, Becca, noted that the teen suffers from mental health issues and has run away before, but never for this long.

Family members suspect Serenity posted on Snapchat asking for a ride just hours before she left home. They fear she may have been preyed upon and possibly groomed for trafficking in the past, a concern that now haunts her mother.

She was last seen on Sunday near Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, wearing a gray lavender hoodie with "LOVE PINK" on it, a T-shirt with a black and white skull and bones, dark blue pants with pink stars, and tan boots. She is described as African American, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, with light golden eyes and a shaved head. She may be wearing black or blonde wigs.
