"The first reported incident occurred shortly before midnight at a bus stop near Sandalwood Parkway and Conestoga Drive in Brampton on Sept. 24. The second and third are alleged to have taken place weeks later, on Oct. 13 and Oct. 17, at a bus shelter near Burnhamthorpe and Creditview roads in Mississauga.

Police say they believe there may have been additional assaults by the same person and they encourage any potential victims or witnesses to get in touch with Peel's special victims unit."

“We always encourage commuters to be aware of their surroundings first and foremost – especially at night, it’s very important to use well-lit areas and when possible to use a buddy system when commuting. We also encourage people use the main arteritis and avoid shortcuts through secluded and dark areas,” he said.

A suspect wanted in connection with these alleged incidents has been described by investigators as a five-foot-10 bald black man between the ages of 30 and 40 with a medium complexion, a medium build and some facial hair.

“We are appealing for witnesses that may have been in the area that may have dash cam or surveillance footage to contact our investigators to provide any information that they may have or provide that information through Crime Stoppers,” Mooken said.

Investigators said they believe there may be other victims and are encouraging those to contact their special victims unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460."

London man arrested in string of sexual assaults at bus stops in Peel Region
"A 32-year-old London man has been arrested in connection with a series of sexual assaults at bus stops in Peel Region over the past month."
"Investigators say 32-year-old Trevor Kamhunga, of London, Ont., was arrested on Oct. 20 and is facing four counts of sexual assault, one count of uttering threats, one count of forcible confinement, and one count of obstructing police.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on Sunday.

Police are asking anyone with information about the alleged assaults to contact Peel Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit or Crime Stoppers anonymously."
