I think it's a shame the article focused on when the men were discovered instead of the dates they went missing, which would be far more pertinent to the question of whether or not there might be a serial killer.

I remember these cases and I remember saying the same thing to my husband. I had never heard of anyone falling into the river and drowning after a night out and I have lived just outside Bristol all my life then suddenly so many cases so close together and then just as suddenly there have been no more reported cases. I personally believe there is a serial killer going around the country killing young men in this manner. I really don't believe it is coincidence.
