"A wheelchair-bound man who has never walked a day in his life was able to fly thanks to virtual reality glasses, and the uplifting moment was captured on video.

Tim Bartow, 29, of Kansas City, Missouri, suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, which causes cerebral palsy.

He is severely physically disabled and relies on round-the-clock help from caregivers to perform simple tasks.
