So they caught on to the ebt's on fb.
They caught on that O'rourke is H's attorney.
What they are MISSING is that it is a conflict of interest, why?
because Spota was supposed to investigate Hackett, and, if
you read the Hackett EBT's, he states he was never a suspect,
nor were his phone records requested by scpd.

So - Hackett was never investigated, yet Spota's ex-law partner O'Rourke
defends Hackett in a murder investigation, defends Burke in Guy Malone's divorce
defends Burke in the Suffolk County legislation clawback civil lawsuit currently pending
against Burke Spota and McPartland,

ORourke starts slush fund for thousands upon thousands to be donated to the McPartland defense fund
to pay his attorneys (unbelievable) and ORourke defended dirty cops in Ocean Beach beat down of a Police
Chief (Hess) beating up a civilian with 3 police beating him up too.

Police Chief of a Fire Island Village Is Accused of Assaulting a Tourist - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

John Ray defended one of the dirty cops
and O'Rourke defended another and I think Biancavella (ada who put Bitrolff in prison) defended the 3rd.

Good ole boy club

Just because Brewer’s and Pak’s stories gel (now), doesn’t necessarily mean that the events as they describe them are the events that actually occurred. SG could have relayed not only a tremendous amount of information during that 23 minute phone call of sheer desperation, and as John Ray has characterized in refute of SCPD’s claims to the contrary, clearly conveyed fear.
After reading the depositions, I believe that they concocted their story and obviously MP would do anything for $. Theory of mine is that he was either deeply involved in the past with this group of men...and/or he was paid and/or threatened to keep to the story. You have to be approved by the Board to live there. Pretty sure you couldn't get in unless you were one of "them".

Mari Gilbert stated that she had been contacted by Peter Hackett a few days after May 1st, 2010. This was the call in which he asked about Shannan Gilbert's whereabouts and well-being (the "home for wayward girls" call). When later confronted about this call he denied it until it was proven that calls were made from his wife's phone, on or about the time that Mari Gilbert stated she had received the calls.

Thinking about these calls from the perspective of Peter Hackett conforms to my theory.

If he performed unauthorized medical treatments on Shannan Gilbert, and then released her into the care of Michael Pak (where she subsequently died from complications due to the treatment), it could be that he had no idea that Shannan was missing at the time he called Mari Gilbert, and when he discovered that she was in fact missing he denied calling, because he had already implicated himself.

My theory doesn't necessarily contradict the information provided by goodfellas. If the information goodfellas provided is accurate then Peter Hackett was at the gate with Joseph Brewer when Shannan Gilbert & Michael Pak arrived, but he was not necessarily with Shannan and Joseph Brewer in Brewer's Fairway residence afterwards.

Is there additional information that places Peter Hackett at Joseph Brewer's Fairway residence between the time Shannan arrived up until the time she eventually called 911?

The last place we know that Shannan Gilbert officially interacted with someone was when she knocked on Barbara Brennan's door.

Peter Hackett's house is literally minutes down the road from Barbara Brennan's, and it is logical that if Shannan was knocking door to door seeking help that she could end up knocking on Peter Hackett's door, shortly after Barbara Brennan's, and Michael Pak would only have to follow the road down Anchor way toward the Bayou, and ultimately to Larboard Court to catch up with Shannan.
what bothers me is...if she ran from Coletti's house, wouldn't she have run from Hackett's, too? Unless maybe his wife was present? Also, MP says she was hiding under or behind Colettis't boat, Coletti never mentions that, that I am aware of. Seems like they don't have all their stories straight.

In my mind I see Peter Hackett hearing Shannan Gilbert in a panic near or at his residence, and identifying himself as a doctor, which from my experience seems to calm people down.

I think he seems creepy right off the bat from hearing him speak. I think if anything, his wife being present might have made her trust him. Just theorizing...I think this whole group helped to cover up the real story and that they started turning on each other.

I believe Michael Pak left Peter Hackett's residence with Shannan Gilbert, and she subsequently became unresponsive as they were making their way back home. He panicked and dumped her body fearing complicity not only in the activity of prostitution, but now also in the death of Shannan Gilbert.

Also, remember that Hackett was the self-appointed surveillance/neighborhood watch head in charge of the camera at the gate.

And what did they reveal?

The 911 call was never released to the public. John Ray was allowed access to the 911 call but was admonished not to disclose any of the contents.

In 2013 during an interview with 48 Hours Detective Dominick Varrone revealed some information about the call.

48 Hours Uncovers Missing Escort Shann Gilbert's Final Moments

Former Suffolk County Chief of Detectives Dominick Varrone, who has heard the call, is speaking for the first time on network television.

"She's saying, 'There's someone after me; there's someone after me,'" he said. "It's a girl who clearly believes she's in harm's way."

"Does she say who she's afraid of," Moriarty asked Chief Varrone.

"She just says 'they're' trying to kill me,'" he replied.

Varrone says two male voices are recognizable in the background: Shannan's driver and the man who hired her, Joseph Brewer. As Brewer is heard trying to get her to leave his house, Varrone says, "He either approaches her or touches her and you hear her scream out."

But police couldn't respond to the call because Shannan couldn't say where she was.

"The complaint operator's asking, 'Well, where are you?' And she just kind of ignores that 'where are you' question and keeps saying 'someone's after me,'" Varrone explained. "She sounds not very coherent, not very rational."

"But wouldn't you sound that way if you were panicked and afraid?" Moriarty asked Varrone.

"You could make that argument," he replied. "It almost seems like she's in some type of psychotic state or in some type of drug-induced stupor."

Still on the 911 call, Shannan fled the house running towards the nearby home of Gus Colletti, a retired insurance fraud investigator and resident of Oak Beach for over 30 years.

"It was like 5:00 in the morning," Colletti recalled. "I was in the bathroom shaving. All of a sudden, I heard screaming out here and banging on that door. Yelling, 'Help me, help me, help me.'"

He opened the door. "And I said to her 'What's the matter?' She wouldn't answer me. She just kept staring at me and going, 'Help me, help me, help me.'"

"This is all on the audiotape," Varrone said. "We hear the conversation between the two of them and she's just staring at him and not acting rationally."

"I reached over and grabbed that phone, dialed 911," Colletti continued. "When I said to her, 'I called the police. Sit down in that chair. They're on their way,' She just looked at me and she ran right out the door."

Colletti said it was then that he noticed an Asian man in his 30s driving a black SUV. It was Michael Pak, Shannan's driver.

"I could see a car come and stopping, coming a little bit and stopping," he said.

Asked if he thought Shannan was afraid of the man in the SUV, Colletti

replied, "She was afraid of somebody."

Then, Colletti saw Shannan was hiding underneath the boat in his yard.

"All of a sudden, she took off, out from under the boat and he took off after her. And I yelled to him to stop. And he didn't and he followed her around that way," he said.

At that point, Colletti called 911. It was now 5:21 am. Shannan ran towards the home of another Oak Beach resident, Barbara Brennan.

"We know she's alive 'cause she's banging on Mrs. Brennan's door and Mrs. Brennan calls 911," said Varrone.

In my opinion and based on the facts available to the public, Peter Hackett is responsible for the death of Shannan Gilbert. Michael Pak, without initially intending to, is complicit in her death.

I think Peter Hackett had decided while in the presence of Michael Pak, and without a full understanding both her medical history and toxicology, to medically treat Shannan Gilbert with some type of drug to calm her down, which subsequently resulted in her death while leaving Oak Beach in the company of Michael Pak, and in Michael Pak's vehicle.

The treatment ultimately caused Shannan Gilbert to become unresponsive while in Michael Pak's vehicle. He panicked. Rather then call an ambulance, take her to the hospital or report the situation to the authorities, he decided to dump her body in the marsh behind Peter Hackett's property. He then left her belongings in the vicinity of Peter Hackett's house in an attempt to implicate him, if and when it was suspected foul play was involved in her disappearance.

**Side note: It is customary for an escort be paid up front and there was no cash in Shannan Gilbert's purse when it was found.**

Though I believe Joseph Brewer is no doubt guilty of patronizing prostitution, and did something to put Shannan Gilbert in fear for her life while in his premises, I don't believe he is directly complicit with Peter Hackett and Michael Pak. He may be indirectly complicit if he supplied Shannan Gilbert with either legal or illegal drugs, and those drugs ended up causing complications with the unauthorized medical treatment Peter Hackett performed on her.
Indeed… I agree 1000 % , nice post…
