Mexico Sharon Elizabeth Hall Kinne, 30, Escaped Convicted Murderer 7 December 1969, died in Alberta Canada in 2022

Wow this is so interesting. Wonder what happened to her children from her first marriage.
Her son is sadly dead

Sharon had two children by her first husband, James A. Kinne, whom she murdered on their son's first birthday.

Those two children were probably raised by their paternal grandparents. Son James Troy Kinne died in 2005 at age 46.

Sharon had a third child by a different father while in jail awaiting murder trial proceedings. That baby may have been put up for adoption?

A fourth child was born in Canada.

Well...as usual, thank you @Richard .
Just out of genuine curiosity.... i hope we can learn more about her life in Canada and her children.

Do we have any information on cause of death of her son?

Interesting inscription on his gravestone.

I have no information on his cause of death. He was married with no children. His sister (still living in 2005) was Marla (Kinne) St. John. His obituary does not mention any other brothers or sisters.

Makes me wonder if the son in Canada tipped the police, once she passed. Thank you for posting all this, so interesting and sad that she wasn’t caught.

Given that the police praised the courage of the tipster, who came forth two years after she died...who else would need courage?

Also, a surviving child might sort through their mother's effects after her death and discover something they never knew about her in life.

A 1960 mug shot of Sharon Kinne, an Independence, Missouri, woman who was the subject of the longest outstanding arrest warrant for murder in Kansas City history.

“It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t catch her while she was alive,” Love said. “She was really good at what she did. She hid really well. It just so happens that someone had that tip and was not willing to release it until after her death.

A pity they didn't tip the police earlier! But in their defense, maybe they didn't know about this part of her life.

Rather a shock for the bridge players and other residents of that pretty small town of Taber, Alberta. Yikes! I'd be glad to know she's six feet under and can do no further harm if I were a resident. MOO

Sharon Kinne went by a number of different aliases. By most accounts, she would qualify as a serial killer.

Her known victims include:

- James Arthur Kinne, 25, her husband, shot to death 19 March 1960.

- Patricia Jones, 23, wife of Kinne's lover, shot to death 27 May 1960.

- Francisco Parades Ordonez, shot to death in Mexico about 1964. Another person was also shot, but not fatally.

Kinne's choice of weapon was a .22 revolver. Ballistic testing showed that the same weapon was used in the Jones and Ordonez murders.

As with all serial killers, one has to ask, how many others were there?

This case is an active one in the state of Missouri based on open warrants for the murder of James Kinne.

Although not officially announced as a solved/closed case, investigators have been pursuing strong leads which indicate that Sharon Kinne had moved to Canada where she lived under an assumed name until her recent death.

I previously posted that Sharon Kinne had killed three known victims. However, it was actually four that she is known to have murdered.

Patricia Ann "Patsy" (Clements) Jones was pregnant at the time, so Kinne killed that unborn baby as well.

Although Kinne was acquitted in her trial for Patricia's murder, the .22 revolver used in the killing was later found in her possession when she was arrested for one murder and another attempted murder in Mexico. Because of US laws, she could not be retried for Patricia's murder.

One is left to wonder if Kinne might have murdered others along the line.

I thought that too, that something was found in her belongings. Or maybe there was a deathbed confession? Or maybe a friend was confided in and knew for awhile?

This wording makes it sound like the tipster knew who she was before she died.

CBC article on Sharon Kinne. There were able to identify her as one "Deidra Glabus", an 81 year old lady who died in rural Taber, Alberta in 2022 because of a tip "from Alberta". They were able to conclusively identify Deidea as Sharon since all people in Canada are fingerprinted after death. She is known to have lived in the town since 1973, co-owned a motel with her husband and was later a realtor. Most interesting is her new husband Jim Glabus died in 1979, age 38:

"Jim had a history of alcoholism and diabetes, according to the findings of a fatality inquiry, and was drinking the night he died.

According to evidence presented to a judge, Dee tried to get her husband admitted to hospital but was unable due to a shortage of beds.

The judge found Jim died of "asphyxiation from inhalation of gastric juices as a result of being in a diabetic coma.""

Photos of "Deirda", who looked exactly how you'd imagine an older Sharon Kinne:

where did you see that ' ... all people in Canada are fingerprinted after death'?

this is what I read in the article you linked - 'Police then subpoenaed the funeral home in Taber. In Canada, in certain circumstances, people can be fingerprinted after they die.'

and being Canadian, I am not aware of anything like you stated
