Details: Shawn was reported missing on December 14 2022. He had walked away from the family farm the night of December 13, 2022. He was last seen on foot and was not properly dressed for the weather conditions. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, a grey puffy style vest, blue jeans and slides for footwear. Friends and volunteers search for a missing 25-year-old Cleveland man

A volunteer-led search party went out for five hours with hopes of finding something... anything. The weather haltered those plans.

According to police, search efforts were halted due to extreme snow fall this past winter.

Now that the snow is melting, police will start ground searches again next week in various areas, including in and around Mooring’s residence.

Police say they will also use helicopters and trained canines.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office continues searching for Cleveland resident Shawn Mooring, reported missing after leaving his residence on the evening of Dec. 13, 2022.

The body believed to be Shawn Mooring, who went missing in December, was found Friday morning.

Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason says search teams looking for 25-year-old Mooring were in the area around Silver Lake in Cleveland Township when they found a body in the cattails and trees along the southeastern shoreline of the lake.

The boy is believed to be that of Mooring, the sheriff's office said. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will officially identify the body and determine the man's cause of death.
