I'm still hung up on the cars. Did a quick google search. Similar cars to the station wagon are out there. I don't have a Pinterest account but there's names of people out there that LE can try to trace back ownership. I still think it's up on that mountain somewhere though.

My theory is two or more people in the family who liked to play with little girls.

The indicted brother-in-law Leslie Engleking has a son doing a long prison sentence for child . My guess it that some of the men in the family share a secret.

I don't think the females in the family are or were involved. It is just so atypical for females to engage in such deviancy.

I am thinking that the sister, wife and granddaughter have been fed a line of BS about what happened. Maybe some far fetched tale about how LLW JR did it all but has some secret on RAW or somehow RAW was tricked into implicating himself after the fact.

There is no excuse for the lack of co-operation on the part of Richard Allen Welch. He could probably be granted immunity for any other crime besides murder of the Lyon girls if he told the truth. He has chosen to let his family suffer and I don't know why they would be stupid enough to protect him.

I am mystified as to why Richard Allen Welch has not been charged and has not been arrested.

I live about an hour from Taylor's mountain. Taking a road trip there soon.
i haven't been this disturbed about a cold case since I first heard of the Black Dahlia

Are you a Taylor's Mountain descendant? If not, just make sure you pay attention to the "no trespassing" signs when you get here.

Not to worry, I plan on it. Being a disabled vet I don't plan on going too far from
the road. If I sense danger I will send my dear sister to investigate.

While Sheila and Kate were definitely not Taylor's Mountain descendants, they were certainly NOT trespassing when they were brought to the mountain. I think it would be nice not to have to worry about violent crime there.

Nobody has to worry about violent crime here and I'm disappointed that you would say that! With the amount of reporters and curiosity seekers we've had here in the past 11 months, walking through people's yards, parking in people's driveways, taking "mementos" from people's property, I am merely pointing out that there are no trespassing signs up and if the homeowners don't know you, they're probably going to call the law. Better to heed the signs than to be arrested.

I agree that no one should take "mementos", especially near a possible crime scene during an investigation. At the same time, the person to whom directed your directive has not mentioned being a cop, and did not state that he had a warrant to enter anyone's property. It sounded as if he might meet with an undesirable fate on the mountain, unless he is a descendant of one of the documented families there. If that is the case, perhaps the police have more problems with this investigation than they thought. That's how your comment came across to me, when I read it. I do not think anyone wants to park in someone else's driveway or walk through someone's yard without persmission.

Quite a bit was found when the site where the fire was built was found. The latest actual developments are that RAW's grand daughter and brother-in-law have hired attorneys and have been granted continuances on court dates.
