Thank you for the link, Suzi.

I didn't read it all, but I will and many times it is the wording of the stats that can be confusing. I would say "intimate" would be someone the victim knew but not necessarily the spouse/bf etc.

I am just hoping for all families involved that this husband/father had nothing at all to do with this.

That is why I put the other stat up because it broke it down by percentages in each category.

imo

No. Thank you for the link. It was very interesting to read in general.

I admit I have only scanned the details in this case- but, it resembles one and possibly two other cases discussed on this board- the murder of a child and his stepmom in Frankln Indiana in 2006 and that of an 11 year old boy and the family housekeeper in Omaha in March 2008. In both other cases the killer seemed to be trying to leave a message- a distraught dad found the victims in both of these cases.
There is so God-awful much evil in this world these days so they perhaps are not related but there is enough similiarity that I wonder. In the Franklin case there was I believe some link to some faith based organization that the father was working for? I need to reread that one.

Thanks, Suzi~ Looking at the photos from the back of his suv, I wonder wth he had in there?! It would fit with her kicking him out maybe?

It is very odd when they show the utility room door open and she had one of those really new appliances, but they open the back of her vehicle to find a laundry basket full of clothes plus other bags. I think this would indicate she possibly grabbed clothing to leave in a hurry.

Yup. I think they were in the middle of a split and he did it.

Good catch SS. It does appear to an indication of moving. Maybe he was being kicked out, loaded up his car then changed his mind and said no. Then she decided she was going to leave.

I've been thinking about her name being removed from the mortgage. I have to wonder if he didn't do that behind her back so that he could refinance without her knowledge, or to attempt to screw her out of the house in a divorce settlement. Pending mortgage stuff has led to Spousal murders before. I'm reminded of the recent Corvette club lady that was murdered the day before signing on a new home. Sorry, can't recall her name right off hand.

Though I am supicous of the husband/father. Removing the wife from the mortgage doesn't bother me. They may have refinanced. If her credit was poor or had late pays on it. They would've been able to get a better mortgage rate without her on it. Our mortgage is in my husbands name. Of course we live in a 50/50 state! I'm not sure of the state they were in.

I hate to go here so soon, but IMO, the letters and spray painting on the wall seem so...staged, like out of a movie. Now IF the cameras show something different I'll take that back. But it wouldn't shock me to find out that the cameras were conveniently not working.

Also, at one of the above links, it's stated that the Coleman's repeatedly tried to sell the home, were having financial problems and that Chris' wife's name was removed from the mortgage. I wonder what was behind that?

I know a couple of years ago, we tried to refinance our house with a Company that said my credit wasn't good. They wanted to take my name off. I wouldn't do it. We went to our credit union and refinanced and was told my credit was great. I think the other Company just didn't want to fool with all the paper work.

True. That could still tell a story about their financial situation. I don't know how it goes in Illinois, but I had a mortgage in my name, and both me and my husband were on the title.

I'm looking at the stuff in the back of Chris' SUV. I think the hard cases are an ammo box and gun cases, possible climbing equipment, skiis of somesort, and duffle bags. Was he planning an outdoors getaway?

Where is he while they are conducting this search of the house?? Yes, can't wait to hear from her family as well......

Yes, but she ended up murdered within 6 months of having her name removed making it very suspicious. This could be a clue to marital trouble on top of the financial trouble and it should raise a red flag for LE.

I don't think he could do this behind her back. I believe she would have had to sign to have her name removed.

I was thinking maybe it was more along the lines of surveillance equipment and tools in the hard cases. Still, there are backpacks, duffle bags, etc. I think those are too short to be any kind of skiis. Maybe they are straps from another backpack hidden by the big green flap of the bag in front.

I guess it is possible this is stuff he uses for work when he travels with JMM which would explain why they are in those duffle bags. The bag on the left looks to contain electric cords and other types of cable etc.

Did I miss the presser?!

A coroner says autopsies are done on the bodies of a southwestern Illinois woman and her two sons, who were found dead inside their home outside St. Louis. But Monroe County Coroner Julie Gummersheimer says she won't discuss the results. She referred questions Wednesday to police in Columbia, the community where 31-year-old Sheri Coleman and her two children lived.

I personally know of several cases where names have been removed from home titles, vehicles, retirement accounts, bank accounts, etc. All you need to do is forge a signature and find a dishonest notary public.

What looks like skiis are standing up almost verticle against the back seat. They are short skiis like those used to climb with.
