I don't know for sure, but I seem to recall that they weren't specific about who was loading up the stuff. I thought that it was Sheri's family but that doesn't make sense since the only family member of her family that I've heard about being in Chester is Sheri's father.

No it was him and his family clearing out the house and taking both cars.

Here is a thought... (it's only a thought)

Maybe Chrissy created the whole threatening letter BS so that he could convince Sheri to take herself and the boys up to Chicago so that they would be safe.

Maybe he wanted more freedom and wanted to start a new life. Sheri was only 20 or younger when she married him - he is only 1 year older than her.

So while Sheri is gone he would pack up the house and disappear off the face of the earth for a while. (this would help him avoid alimony and child support and Sheri might think that someone actually made good on the threats and that they killed her husband and dumped his body some place - he surely could get away with this for a while if she was not close by and I bet his Chester family did not visit him much in Columbia) - Sheri would end up making a missing person report on him and maybe LE would eventually catch up with him.

But Sheri would not leave and maybe she found out about the GF or maybe he really thought he would get away with killing her and his boys, maybe his plan was to leave the country and he never dreamed that MCS would be on his tail so quickly.

He does have a passport due to the missionary work he and Sheri did outside the USA.

She does have a large bandage on her left leg and also on her right wrist in the video at the burial.

It seems odd to me they would travel that far for her to see a Doctor even with an autoimmune disease, but I guess it is possible. Darn. I need to go back to WS logic class 101. LOL

No you don't... the only person that sees any logic in all of this is CC, his family may have a hard time with it too, but it would be my guess he is manipulating them. At this stage I wouldn't be surprised if the family is letting themselves be manipulated.

CC lawyer speaks up about the hospital visit.

William Margulis, one of Coleman's lawyers, said this afternoon that the family was headed to a doctor's appointment in Cape Girardeau for Coleman's mother. Margulis said Coleman's mother has "serious health problems."

"It has nothing to do with Chris," Margulis said.

Sorry if this has been posted already. So many posts, it is difficult to read them all.

Grandsons and daughter but no wife, sons what is up with that.

REALLY. No wife, son, daughter - in - law. I can't even comment on that without probably getting a time out, so I won't.

Howdy,

Which of our gang here was asking about Florida newspapers? I was fishing... Just found this -- haven't read it yet.

Title of article: "Chris Coleman alleged girlfriend lives in Largo, Florida"

W

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering how long it would take. :)

Here's the link to the picture of them loading up the truck after they took down the yellow tape that you were asking about earlier. The woman loading the coat onto the van has jeans on...not sure who it is. Is this what you were looking for?

People who cleared out the house....

Chris' Dad, Ron - Chris' Mom, Connie - Chris' Brother, Brad - and Chris' friend who's father was on the news asking people not to rush judgment.
They did not take the car that was in the garage (Sheri's) and I don't think they took Chris' car back to Chester with them either. I think the way the media phrased it made it sound like they took both Sheri & Chris' cars but what the media said was 2 cars left the home with one pulling a trailer behind it. (that would have been Chris' Dad's Car that Chris got into after he arrived with his lawyer after giving LE his fingerprints and Brad's small SUV that was pulling the small enclosed trailer behind it = 2 cars)

No it was him and his family clearing out the house and taking both cars.

Has he been admitted?

Nope. The psych unit thing was just something we were speculating about, he hasn't been admitted and since it looks he is not going to be. I used the wrong tense in my statement. Sorry!:blowkiss:

I am going through the comments on the Post site, and one mentions that the Florida papers are covering this better. This I take to meant the girlfriend story. Googling, I am not finding any. Does anyone know of any of the FL papers that are covering this?

There's nothing in the St Pete times. I just checked again. But I did learn more about Sheri - she was a part of my son's crowd in high school, but he hasn't seen her in years. He remembers her clearly as she was friends with a girl he dated. He says that she had a great sense of humor, was pretty and played softball with my niece (who is now a local sheriff's deputy!) She works the late shift, so I'm going to call her a bit later and see what she knows.

Sheri reminds me of Jennifer Aniston, appearance-wise. Such a beautiful young lady.

Did Illinois re-institute the death penalty? Or is it off the table?

He took his car. I know it may seem like he didn't unless they took Sheri's car and left his. But I am telling you that they only had room in their garage for 1 car. A lot of people on the street use their two car garage for one car and storage and they did this. What color was the SUV that was pulling the trailer? Because CC had a green one.

That is his mom Connie with the coat in her arms. The one that went to the hospital today in Cape G.

We have it, but, there has been a moratorium on actually doing it/caring out the sentence for a few years now. George Ryan, a former governor, made the moratorium and then commuted the death sentences of all on death row as his last act as governor. The two governors since have left the moritorium in place, thus far. The current governor hasn't been in office but a few months.

IL has the death penalty they can issue as a sentence, but thanks to Jail Bird Gov. Ryan, it's currently not carried out. He issued a moratorium on executions about 10 years ago maybe??? He's probably really popular in prison ;-)

It was a silver Jeep liberty (belongs to his brother)
Maybe LE took Chris' car into custody?

Tell me what the make and model the green SUV is and I will look for it here in Chester.

This article is interesting:

http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/political-fix/political-fix/2009/05/death-penalty-moratorium-defeated-in-missouri-house/
JEFFERSON CITY — A week before Missouri’s first planned execution in over three years, the House this morning rejected a plea for a death penalty moratorium.

The 95-64 vote followed an emotional debate in which legislators took turns arguing for crime victims and for those wrongly convicted of crimes.
(more at link)
Rep. Bill Deeken, R-Jefferson City, asked that executions be delayed for two years while a commission studies whether the death penalty is administered fairly and properly. Deeken said the state needs to “make sure we aren’t putting someone to death who is not guilty.”

It's a Green Ford Explorer. In one of the photo spreads you can see it in the driveway.
