Beautiful pictures of Sheri and the boys. She looks like she was a loving mother. This is heartbreaking.

Diane King her husband wrote her threatening letters he even discuised his voice to make people think she had a stalker,husband was ex LE and a professor.He shot and killed her. He was caught.

I imagine that he told Sheri he was leaving her (after spending the weekend with TL?) and Sheri flipped out. By all accounts she was a feisty, independent woman and it's logical to think that she would throw his religious hypocrisy in his face and threaten to expose him to the world.

As for the threatening letters - well it makes perfect sense that someone within the organization knew what was going on and was threatening to tell his wife.

The big questions are whether the murders were premeditated and, if so, committed single-handedly (hideous) or if he had an accomplice (someone who was filmed strangling a deer?) and whether or not JM knew about the affair.

In that case, I don't think he would have told Sheri and JM about the threatening notes or called LE to take a report. If it was someone threatening to tell his wife and/or JM, I would think he would do everything to keep it away from both of them.

I tend to believe that maybe JM either knew or suspected something with the things she said when she arrived on the scene last Tuesday. I find it odd he wasn't working his normal nightshift and is it possible he had been "let go" because of the affair? A man losing his job in this climate could have caused some tension at home.

For some reason, I don't think he was leaving her. I still believe she was the one ready to go. Wives have suspicions when their mates cheat. We also don't know if he was abusive or controlling towards Sheri. I keep thinking about the laundry basket of clothes in the back of her car and the brand new appliances sitting in her house. Something was wrong with that picture.

she agreed to pay for his lawyers the day it happened....I believe/also was told he confessed to her that morning of the murders that he did have an affair but didn't think he would get a fair trial if they found out...I dont/wouldnt think she believed him but paid for the lawyers out of respect for his dedication to her and his family....

I'm not really sure how his affair with the stripper relates to the ministry.

I think that he told people that the threats they received were connected to the ministry because it may have been the only thing he could think of.

I looked up JMM's schedule and they spent much of Feb. in Florida. It appears JM went to CA in March and HI in April. This month she has Tulsa, OK scheduled for the 14-17. I wonder how many of those trips Chris attended with Joyce? I would guess he went on the trip to Florida...

I wonder how his family is going to try to spin this one?! A married preacher's son shouldn't be having an affair with a stripper and then be a possible suspect in the homicide of his wife and sons. His attorney has his work cut out for him especially since he claims he has never heard of this woman! (And the "jury pool" just dried up.)

Yes this is true - it was reported by FOX news on Monday when they talked about Coleman's family clearing out the house.

It went something like this during the newscast...

We are here at the Coleman house - There are 2 auto here - one parked on the street registered to Chris Coleman and one parked in the garage also registered to Chris Coleman... (Then went into how Coleman and his family showed up at the house and that Coleman's family started removing things from the house. Chris' clothing, some books, etc)

Got this bit of information from another message board, so I don't know if it's true. Is there anyway someone local could check on it?

Is it true that both vehicles for the Coleman family were registered in Chris Coleman's name? Sheri's name wasn't on them?

Anyone who's been around Websleuth any length of time knows where I'm going with this.

Anyway, if anyone local can find this out, it would be appreciated.

I don't think that he was going to leave her either. Because Sheri knew "the other woman" its possible that someone else tipped her off. CC could have ended it with Tara and Tara told Sheri, especially if she felt that CC had led her to believe that it was more than an affair. I can't even imagine how betrayed Sheri would have felt knowing that her husband was having an affair with one of her friends.

How could anyone look at those beautiful faces and murder them? To strangle them means someone was looking right at them. I cannot understand that kind of depravity or evil in any human.

To think it was possibly someone they loved, trusted, and believed would never harm them in any way could take their lives without a thought is unconscionable. :furious:

Hey Chestergal! I was wondering what happened to you! The big news here is that we now have a confirmed motive. CC was having an affair with a stripper in Florida who was friends with Sheri.
