As far as the house, I think he could sell it (even if he has lawsuits against him) because the house was (conveniently) put in his name only just awhile ago. I don't think her family could stop him. Or his attorneys could maybe have the house put up as collateral against his defense bills.

I don't know. I think in this case they might be able to get some kind of injunction preventing him from using it or selling it pending the outcome of the criminal and civil case. I think they would want to find out why in his name only and all.

At first I thought it was a rage killing, but the more I read here and everywhere else it had to have been premeditated. So thanks all for helping me clear that up in my mind...:blowkiss:

I have something, however, that is bugging me. Maybe someone knows the answer???

If CC is not talking to LE how did they find out about the girlfriend?? He seems to have been leading a double life. I doubt if he had told any friends at work and Sheri's family didn't know anything. :waitasec:

Also, I wonder just how much the girlfriend knew about his plans to murder the family? I remember someone asked, on NG last night, if there might be anyone else charged. The Major didn't say yes or no. He simply said "Not at this time, but things could change....":waitasec:

Sources tell me he had her over to that other house in St Louis many times and she already had the wedding invitations ordered.

Perhaps they can prevent it by alleging purjury and fraud. I wonder if the notary was a bank notary? And speaking of, I wonder if he tried to hide any other assets? (Other than "ms motive") I hope LE is checking her accounts and looking for any he may have opened in Florida.

Hmmm... No insult to you or your "source", but something doesn't feel/sound right about this.

My mom has a house in Springfield, IL and we can't get local STL stations there on direcTV. Don't know about the Post, don't think I ever looked for it. I wouldn't want it moved to Chicago, too liberal to go for DP.

How is he paying for these lawyers? I doubt he was making that much money to pay A & B's crazy fees. Must be coming from the Church? Or who knows... interesting mom & dad didn't go to court yesterday.

Sources say the father of CC put down 40,000 to retain the attorney and took another 50,000 to them today. He was a coal miner before he turned preacher. So I'm sure he has a pension from there as well.JMO

I just thought of something. It has been a while since we had to have anything notarized, but, the last time, was over some insurance issues after my FIL passed, and DH had the document notarized at a local hardware store - someone there is a notary, and I just called and asked him if they ask for id etc and he said no, they never do, they know him from going in there for years, but, I wonder what they do for others. But, then he added, he isn't sure they do know his name, most of the time no one calls him by name, thye just look and act like they know him. There is a sign by customer service regarding their notary services. So, who knows where the notary is from.

Once notarized, I do know on QC deeds, one just takes to the county courthouse. Not sure what they ask for - if I remember it correctly, the answers was nothing - I just filed it and got a receipt. The fee was small or it would stand out. I don't recall showing any id or anything.

As I said a source close to the LE..take it for what it's worth. Think this site has quite a bit of source info.

Opinion8ed, you stated "source, not source to LE. I do take it for what it's worth. Divorce takes time and the death of family members, well, one would like to believe time that is "decent" time of mourning for family members regarding such deaths would be considered. If invitations had been ordered, does your source give a time/date of the upcoming nuptials or was is kind of open to a date?

Thanks...

I can't recall where I read it, but I saw where it was the 'local' friends who informed LE of the Florida g/f.

Dates were not discussed by the source and I doubt CC thought much about a decent time to mourn before he took another nuptial. I doubt that came into his thinking since they were murdered . There would be no need to have any divorce preceedings. Grant you the GF may not have known of his intentions to end this relationship in this way,she merely may have thought he was in the process of divorcing and I doubt she would care less about a time line.Alot of people get married right after a divorce. So that leads me to believe she didn't know he was planning events to come out like this or she would have held off with invitations. And who is to say any of the family members were even going to be invited, could have just been close friends of hers down there. JMO

Strange, but my former pastor's wife was a notary. She said it made it easier for youth trips - to get the permission papers notarized. Another thought - was ms motive introduced to JM as a "family friend"? I'll bet that's how he was able to bring her around - and Sheri, God rest her soul, was probably glad that 🤬🤬🤬 GF TL was growing in faith(lessness)

Please don't tell me that his parents treat him like a 'prince' and he's their 'golden child!'

I'm feeling a little de-je-vu, ala Peterson.

Well, at least he has someone to 'flip the bill.' Thank goodness the tax-payers will be spared.:bang:

His dad's congregation might consider lightening up on their rules for new members.:waitasec:That is,............unless they want to flip for the entire bill!

I understand Scott Peterson's parents paid a kool mil,...........but the budget ran over and the California tax-payers got stuck with the balance. :behindbar

His ehhhh..........dad might recall, that didn't work out to well for old Scott or his parents........;)

Interesting,
fran

PS.....I LIKE your sources............fran

I apologize for leaving out LE. I doubt that matters though it's really not noteworthy, due to the fact we will never know who all the sources are. Here we just mention the info we get and then we try to analyze and pick it apart...which is all we can really do because we are not privy to the legal paper work until they release what they want us to know.

:eek:and they want to know why there's so much REAL ESTATE fraud today!

Seriously, you wouldn't believe the stuff you have to go through in Calif to be a notary. Been there, done that. ;)

Good grief!
