wendy murphy, another easily interchangeable talking head that loves the limelight, stated recently that they are all required to take a pro or con position depending on which pro/con slot needs to be filled during a particular show in order to balance the "debate", for the sake of good tv - she admitted that few if any of them have any real conviction beyond what their dictated role required, which i think is readily apparent when watching any of the primetime tabloid shows. again, thank goodness for schaefer.

I LOVE Bill Sheaffer!!! He is a no-nonsense kind of guy and I totally respect his opinion and his knowledge of the law.

Kathi Belich is a wonderful reporter!!!! If Jeff Ashton is a "pit bull in a tie", then Kathi is a "pit bull in a dress"!!!!

Bill Sheaffer represents the voice of wisdom. Whenever he talks, I listen. The first time I heard him, I immediately appreciated his calm, objective way of putting things into perspective for us. Bill is the reason I have been watching the WFTV feeds exclusively.

I have gotten most of my news online about this case from WFTV.com. During this trial I've been watching Bill Shaeffer's legal commentary during the sidebars. I've also been watching all the trial analysis that's online on WFTV too. During this whole case I've read Mr Shaeffer's blogs and watched Kathy Belich's reporting online too. I don't live in an area where I can watch WFTV on tv, I can only see whatever WFTV streams live or puts on their web site.

I also have to give WFTV kudos for putting a lot of the discovery online and for putting the various court proceedings online too in their video archives.

I wish I would have watched him from day 1 of the trial -- I have only been watching him for about the past 2 weeks -- and I really appreciated his legal expertise during the sidebars and recesses.

I love WFTV. That's where I found all the documents and other discovery evidence to read when I started following this case in 2009. Bill S. and Kathy B. have been the BEST throughout this case and trial, and another one of the main reasons that WFTV Channel 9 was my favourite station that covered the trial. Bill Schaeffer has kept me sane throughout the hearing, the jury selection and now the trial. I can always count on him to keep me sane each day and to tell me what actually happened, instead of listening to those out there who are simply promoting with grandstanding hype, their own legal or media careers.

I've been on Vinnie's show, Jane's show, and Nancy Grace and I've never been told what position to take or what to say, or not to say. However, they did tell me never to say "I don't know" to Nancy, or she will be upset. LOL

I like him too. I heard him yesterday on the radio and he said the jury basically listened to the first two weeks of testimony and didn't listen again until the last two weeks. All that stuff in the middle.. completely ignored.
