The Alexanders' intimidation techniques may work against them.

And their train of thought kind of evolved as the years went by, ie, the pedo accusations, Sky believed it, then changed her mind, who does that if they're really, really good friends?
This is my hangup with the Hugheses. There shouldn't have been this type of doubt...even for a second.

Haven't heard that in years- that's a scary sound. Anyone remember the Cold War and all the tests on the TV set then and hiding under our desks in school? :scared:

"..about paying to watch the ‪#‎JodiArias‬ sentencing retrial...."

" local media won't be charging you to view the highlights, but they will be edited and limited.."

Bernina, thank you for giving us the birds eye view of rush hour contemplation in Phoenix and the reason why the need for a verdict to be given in plenty of time before the court closes and locks the doors for the day. The onslaught of the media will cause quite a frenzy and be time consuming. I appreciated your input for those of us not residing in that area.

JA reminds me of one of those types of prisoners that will work on planning an escape attempt while looking out her window. She will probably work on it for years and then put it into action.

Someday, many years later, we will read about her in the news and it will likely go something like this.

"A daring escape attempt was tried by an infamous killer that ended in her falling 80 feet to her death. The guards found her laying on the concrete and could not figure out what happened until they read the note she had written that contained her instructions. These instructions must have taken her years to develop."

(1) - At precisely ten minutes before being called out to exercise yard, cut mattress in half, roll it up really tight, and hide it on person in &#$$%

(2) - Once in exercise pen, wait for guards to leave, and then immediately disassemble the blue seat bench.

(3) - Take the seat bench and center it over the steel end post to create a see-saw. Make sure 1 end is directly under the universal gym weights.

(4) - Stand on the open end of the see-saw, and release all 1000 pounds of the weights to come crashing down on the other end.

(5) - While flying threw the air heading for the razor wire on top of the wall, remove mattress and use as a combination "wingsuit" / "body shield".

(6) - Once over the wall, RUN

:fencefall:

I remember those bomb drills, hiding under the desks. We lived in the Dallas area then, and when President Kennedy was killed in 1963. I was six years old in the first grade, and will never forget what a sad , dark day it was and how afraid I felt.

I know--mine were involved in a few. Thank God nothing like the shooting in November but we did have some. Was always weird seeing a police office at the high school~~granted they need them these days, but still strange! Wish it was like when I grew up--some creep exposing himself you take another route! Scary times

The Queen says hello to the Sidebar and to get a move on with the verdict so her servant, me, will stop being on the computer and pay the right amount of respect to her. :dramaqueen:

mini Schnauzer (but don't tell her that because she thinks she is a people and rules over all lands, far and wide :floorlaugh: )

YorN, I don't remember your baby being a mini Schnauzer. That's what mine is. He's like that too, not only a boy, but a Prince. ;) :Crown:

No. The Alexander's aren't going to Perryville. Worst case scenario, they go home after she gets LWOP. Or, she gets DP. But the Alexander's have nothing more to lose. Jodi supporters are disgusting.

16 hours in and they don't have a verdict. They aren't agreeing folks. Here we go again.

Those photos look just awful, I guess most prisons would.
Verdict watch in an Australian dental practice- see patient, discuss trial with patient, (me doing most of the talking, given the circumstances-my hands in their mouths, and obsessive interest in trial), complete treatment and dismiss patient, check websleuths, repeat.
The jury left at about 11AM our time, not much changed, in between appointments I just had to see who was saying what!
With you all in spirit.

Good morning everyone :seeya:

Just a few articles this AM:
-----------------------------

Legally Speaking: Why are the deliberations in the Jodi Arias case taking so long?

"...Hope still exists that this jury will in fact reach a unanimous decision. However, it could be argued that for every minute that passes, the more entrenched they become in their individual position and there will be no decision.
After all, if they were all in agreement wouldn't they have stopped deliberating by now?
Maybe, or maybe they have made their decision and just want more evidence to support their decision..."
