Hey all!
Late getting here...
Yep - they kept the Huz overnight, so I got some take-out Chinese food (Mongolian beef); tried calling this morning, FINALLY got thru to him, and he wasn't sure IF he'd get to go home today! He said "I told you if they kept me last night, that they'll keep me here FOREVER!!!" He was NOT a happy camper! So went to visit with him this morning about 10am. He was drugged up - thankfully - no pain in back! LOL! So, wasn't sure again what they were going to do with him; they were keeping him in there NOT for his back, but his heart was doing weird stuff. He has heart problems from 2011 when he almost died... So I went home, before I stopped at McDonald's and got the Huz some Minions they had there for sale - they DO NOT swear!! I guess some mothers are complaining the Minions swear - but it's JUST jibberish!! My god people...!! He likes the Minions! Anyway - he called me about 1pm and they were releasing him!!! YAY!!! No fast food tonight! LOL! And they gave him a prescription for Percocet, so he's all set if he has pain in his back! That's all he wanted last night from the ER! Oh on his heart condition of why they kept him - I guess his blood was getting enough oxygen and his heart rate was 123. But that corrected itself, so that's why they released, PLUS I think he was giving everyone a hard time - trying to get released from the hospital!!
He's sleeping right now as they IV'd morphine early this morning and gave him some Percocet before releasing him. He'll be out for awhile. I can hear him snoring! :D

The last time I cleaned out my closet was when we thought we were going to move to Latvia. I took a LOT of clothes to Goodwill! I should do it again... but like neesaki - once a year is enough! LOL!

I LOVE Dean Martin!! :luv: In fact back in the 1960s when he had his show, I got to go see one of them. Plus the Huz made me a CD of Dean Martin songs! :skip:

Okay - the kitties want to climb up on my lap and take a nap - they've been running around here playing for about 2 hours! :kitty: So going to sign off for the night!

Take care everyone! :seeya:

Hope your DH recovers.

But first I have/NEED to get over this very rough patch in my life right now...unless you want to see a grown woman continuously cry. It aint pretty

I really do know how you feel about your loss :( When my Baby passed I was in bed for a week and cried and cried. She was my baby. I loved that dog! She was by my side 24/7. I still miss her and it's been 10+ yrs since her passing....

Hey Niner, I hope your DH is ok. I didn't know he was having health issues. Heart rate 123, not good. Maybe due to the pain, that can cause elevated heart rate. But still it's a scary thing. Very happy that he's doing better and got to go home. :)

Oh, and please don't laugh, but, what are these "minions" ? :dunno:

Minions? What the heck are minions? .......... I had to look that one up. So McDonald's is giving out talking toys in Happy Meals that swear, hey? Some people just look for something to be what it is not so they can sue for nonsensical crud. Thanks for the lesson, Niner. Glad your DH is home and doing better. Enjoy your kitties' cuddles.

Oh Bernina ~ I love when you post pictures! I live in the city and I envy your beautiful land out there with the mountains in the background.
Our baby Zuri has gotten so big! She's a beauty, and I love the little white patch on her forehead. Looks like they are having some fun running around together!

I can't seem to get over it for one single day! She followed me everywhere, and even laid on my feet while I was on the computer. She loved to go with me in the car and she sat up in the seat next to me, and would give me the "Stink eye" until I opened her window.
I did ok yesterday off and on, then I found her toy chicken behind my loveseat and had another complete meltdown. This house is so empty without her :frown:
My cousin came and got me and I spent 5 nights with her, and she kept me busy with little daily "adventures," and it helped SOME to get away.

Niner Sending prayers for you "huz"
Don't give him too much pain medicine, he still has to cook ya know! I don't cook either

I've been meaning to ask you ~
There was a poster during JA's trial named sonny crockett... and didn't you tell him/her that your "huz" once played a cop on Miami Vice? I know it was someone that lived in California, and could have sworn it was you???

Who remembers GOONIES I love this movie! Can't wait...

Goonies 2 is happening with the entire original cast returning!

The Goonies 2 sequel has been confirmed after scripts and rumors have been floating around Hollywood for many years, we finally have confirmation of a sequel. Here’s the best part… The entire original cast are returning for the sequel.

A script for The Goonies 2 had been written some years ago, which follows a group of new kids, the sons and daughters of the original Goonies, who all go off on an adventure like the one seen in the original movie. Most of the cast, including Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, and Martha Plimpton have expressed an interest in returning in the past few years. For a while, Warner Bros. considered turning the title into a direct-to-video franchise, like they did with Corey Feldman‘s The Lost Boys.

Whilst director of the original The Goonies, Richard Doonor was in the street signing pictures, he had this to say:

Reporter: “Are you making another comic book movie?”

Richard Doonor: “If you call Goonies a comic book movie. We’re doing a sequel.”

Evey's going to get some more tomorrow.............ran it through Photoshop and the color is off for some reason, maybe it's her phone.

She sure has grown! But look at those toothpick legs on all of them.... how on earth do they manage to go through life without breaking them? I know it happens, and can be deadly, but with such massively muscular bodies, how do those spindly legs hold them up and let them gallop and race around?

Beautiful pics. Curious to see Zuri's color through the months ahead. She looks very dark now.

I can't seem to get over it for one single day! She followed me everywhere, and even laid on my feet while I was on the computer. She loved to go with me in the car and she sat up in the seat next to me, and would give me the "Stink eye" until I opened her window.

Oh my sweet Dmacky, I have cried over a few of my lost furbabes in much the same way as you are now. It really is sad when we have to let go and forge ahead without that little shadow. :therethere: I wish I could make you feel better, but I sure do care.

I am frustrated with auto correct making my words other than what they were! My eyes don't always catch the "correction". :stormingmad:

For those of you with loved ones struggling with addiction, specifically heroin, I found this article this morning:

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/12/u...0150712&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=68392680&_r=0

[h=1]Obituaries Shed Euphemisms to Chronicle Toll of Heroin[/h]
Heroin abuse is soaring, thanks chiefly to its cheap price and widespread availability. Between 2002 and 2013, use of heroin rose across a wide spectrum of demographic groups — young and old, male and female, poor to affluent — according to a report released on Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Among the more striking findings, heroin use doubled among women in that decade and rose by 60 percent among Americans with a household income of $50,000 or more, Over the same period, heroin-related overdose deaths nearly quadrupled, with more than 8,200 reported in 2013.

Maybe someday, our government will acknowledge that Viet Nam and the Afghanistan wars contributed massively to the abundance of heroin that has entered into the United States and how the sales contributed to the war effort, sometimes on both sides. "Air America" or Frank Lucas ring a bell? ISI/ISIS, or whatever the PC term, is currently funding a large part of their terror from proceeds of heroin from Central and South America that is sold in Africa <-----why is that when they have the poppy fields of Afghanistan right in their back yard, more prominent in the world production of opium and heroin than ever before?

The article is a start of a growing trend: Doesn't matter what you income, class, race, religion, etc., is, heroin is the equal opportunity death dealer. Families who experience death by heroin are speaking out.

The only way it can be dealt with is blunt honesty.

I just can't believe that the addiction that my ex-DH started in 1976, would get a hold on my daughter in 2002. Will it continue through my grandkids?

The "War on Drugs" is a joke. And the only ones' laughing are the rehabs, prisons, banks like Bank of America that laundry the proceeds, and drug lords.

Rant over...........

Are you in a hurry?

I'm not a very patient person whenever I start a project, I want to get it all done in one fell swoop. Maybe you could loan me a little of your patience, YorN, just a wee little bit ? :luv: :skip:
