An interesting story of how the book Dr Zhivago was finally published, IMO:

Giangiacomo Feltrinelli: The Revolutionary Publisher Who Saved Dr. Zhivago

"It's marvelous to find a fascinating story, then dig deeper and find a fascinating story behind that, and dig deeper yet and still be fascinated. This is one of those stories.."

You Can't Steal Jokes On Twitter Anymore

"Have you ever wanted to tweet a comedian's joke without attribution? If you do, your message could end up looking like this:

That's because Twitter is now enforcing its copyright regulations to crack down on some tweet-stealers...

"For these comedians and a lot of other professions, [such as] journalists and celebrities, they want to feel a sense that their stuff is protected, and this is Twitter's first way of making it known that they're going to take a hard stance," Joshi said..."

OMG ~
I saw this on the news and about chocked on my sandwich! I have known Austin since he was 2 or 3 years old. His mother was one of the Dance Teachers at my daughters Dancing School and she would bring him to class. My girls took lessons from age 3, till about 16. We did however switch dance schools when entered their teens, but we would still see them at Completions. I have ran into his mom several times since, while shopping or eating out.

I am in shock! I texted(?) my daughter who was working when I saw it on the news, and she kept saying "are you sure" it was him? because he has been really sick and in the hospital and "xxxxx" keeps asking for prayers for Austin on FB. I told her I was 100% sure, that they had showed his mug shot.
Apparently he was the one that was stabbed. But from everything I have read so far, the guy was shot FIRST...and then 4 more times.

Have been reading a few of his true crime books, he's an excellent writer. "Monster", "Bogeyman", and "Love Me To Death" are great reads.

About "Monster" (525 pages but REALLY good!):
"One of the best books short of the famous Ann Rule works." --True Crime Book Reviews

"Steve Jackson is a born storyteller. He makes you sweat. . .and turn the page." --Ron Franscell, author of The Darkest Night

Crazy busy!!!! :seeya:

OK, here's one for the "Twilight Zone":
For the last 2 weeks, I've abruptly woken up at 3:25am...........3:25............3:25.

Talked to lil' bro about it cause we both have that PTSD thing going on, and our minds work the same.....and it seems that he's been having the same problem........hmmmmm.....
Well, I finally cut to the chase, I hadn't bothered to look at my calendar because I REALLY didn't want to get "into" this whole "Dad's Death" anniversary because I KNOW that's the issue with me right now....

Lil' bro checked his iPhone (he's notorious with noting things and having reminders) and here's the spooky part:
Our dad was pronounced dead at 3:30am.

(Sometime the first part of August and I'm not going to look at the calendar  )

So given that the night nurse had to round up a Doc to "pronounce" the death......yeah, you got it.
And with that, I haven't woken up at 3:25 anymore.

Thanks, dad! LOL! Nothing like those paranormal, psychic or whatever reminders! Now cue the "Twilight Zone" theme.......:scared:
