Handy tips of using lemons

•Ant deterrent: Pour lemon juice on the areas which are frequently visited by ants. This is sure to repell them.
•Air freshener and All purpose cleaner: Add an equal amount of lemon juice and water and keep it in a spray bottle. It can act as a wonderful air freshener for your home and also an effective kitchen and bathroom cleaner. It can also be used on walls. But for that spot test first.
•Microwave cleaning: Heat a bowl of water with lemon slices in your microwave for about a minute. Thake the bowl out and wipe out the oven. Stains will be easier to remove. It can also help in removing food odors.
•Refrigerator refreshing: Half a lemon stored in your fridge will help control and eliminate unpleasant smells.
•Cleaning chrome/copper/brass: Make a paste of baking soda and lemon juice and rub chrome or copper. Then rinse and wipe with a soft cloth or paper towel.
•Cleaning toilet: Mix a cup of lemon juice and 1/2 cup borax . You can use it as a powerful toilet cleaner, making it extra clean with a good smell.
•Lime scale: Use a half lemon to clean the lime scale off a sink or taps and then rinse well.
•Laundry & bleaching purpose: Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice to the rinse cycle and hang clothes outside to dry. This will act as a bleaching agent. A teaspoon of lemon juice thrown into your wash can also help your clothes to smell fresher.
•Dishes: Add lemon juice with your dishwashing detergent,. This will give a more shiny look to your dishes.
•Cleaning drains: You can use hot lemon juice and baking soda as a drain cleaner. It is safe to use in septic systems.
•Glass and mirrors: Mix lemon juice with water, say 4 tablespoons of lemon juice with half a gallon of water. Use it as a window cleaner
•Furniture polish: 2 parts olive oil or cooking oil mixed with 1 part lemon juice makes for an excellent furniture polish.
•Hair: If you want to lighten your hair, then dampen it with lemon juice . Sit out in the sun for an hour or so and see the difference. You can also mix lemon juice with one cup warm water. This makes great hair conditioner.
•Cuts, stings and itches: Pour small amount of lemon juice onto minor wounds. This can help stop bleeding and disinfect the injury.
•Hands : Rubbing your hands with lemon juice will help in removing bad smells from your hands.

Tooth paste for Cleaning and Stain Removal

•Cleans Piano Keys: One of the easiest ways to make the pale, yellow keys on your old piano look new is to clean them up with some toothpaste. Use a soft toothbrush with little toothpaste, scrub a little, wipe them down with a damp cloth. The keys on the piano are actually elephants' teeth. This cleaning also works well on modern pianos even though these keys are covered with plastic rather than the real ivory.
•Removes Scuff Marks: You can just use a dab of toothpaste to remove scuff marks from your favorite pair of leather shoes. After dabbing toothpaste, rub the area with a soft cloth, and then wipe clean with a dry cloth.
•Restore a badly scratched CD or DVD: While some damage is beyond hope, a little toothpaste rubbed into the scratched surface can sometimes smooth the disc so you can view your movie or hear your music once again.
•Cleaning Rubber Shoes: Use toothpaste to clean your rubber shoes. After scrubbing them, take a damp cloth to clean it off and they'll look almost new!
•Crayons on Painted Walls: Rub a damp cloth and some toothpaste on your marked-up wall. The fine abrasive in the toothpaste will take away the crayon marks every. Rinse with a clean wet cloth.
•Clean Your Watch Band: A little toothpaste will allow you to scrub all of the dirt away from your watch band. Rinse carefully and dry it with a soft cloth.
•Make Your Diamond Ring Shine: Take a new toothbrush with little toothpaste on it and run it over your diamond ring to make it sparkle. Clean off with a damp cloth.
•Toothpaste as Baby Bottle Deodorizer: If your baby's feeding bottles start smelling like sour milk, then scrub the bottle inside with little toothpaste.
•Toothpaste Goggles and Mirror Defogger: To prevent fogging in goggles, coat the goggles with toothpaste and wipe off. Similarly you can also clean up a fogged-up bathroom mirror. Spread a little non-gel toothpaste onto the mirror and wipe it off.
•Cleaning and Shining Chrome: Use a little non-gel toothpaste, smear it on the chrome piece and polish with a soft, dry cloth.
•Cleans Your Bathroom Sink: Non-gel toothpastes work just as good as any other bathroom cleaner when it comes to cleaning out your sink. It is seen when kids use toothpaste, they are bound to drop gobs of it in the sink while brushing their teeth. In such a case, don't let the toothpaste go waste. Just take a sponge or cloth and make good use of their waste. Rinse it out and see how your sink shines.
•Hang Posters on the wall: Just put a little paste in each corner of the poster and a few in between on the edges. Put your poster up and it will stick like magic. When you get ready to remove it will come off easy with no holes.
•Fill in holes in the wall: Do you have any nail holes showing in your wall. Not to worry . Just put some toothpaste in the hole and let ir dry. Once dried, you can paint it.
•Toothpaste as Air Freshener For Your Car: Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste on a paper towel. Fold or roll the towel and place it under the car seat. When the car is left in the warm sunshine it will heat up and the toothpaste will release a nice mint smell into your car. Replace as needed.
•Silver Cleaning and Polishing: Toothpaste is also good for removing tarnish on silver. Coat the silver with toothpaste and then place it under warm water for some time. Rinse well.

If you or anyone you know needs Epi Pens and pays a copay. You can go to https://www.epipen.com/copay-offer and print out a coupon for up to a $100.00 off your copay. My pharmacist told me about this offer when I refilled my Epi Pens first of the week. Epi Pens run around $300.00 and I pay a $53.00 copay. Took the coupon in and Epi Pen paid all my copay. This coupon is good for twice a year. I don't know about you, but $53.00 back in my pocket was good :)

I don't know anyone who uses Epi-Pens, but that is definitely worth passing on. Good for you, CJ. Nice to get a break once in a while.

  • #505
That is why you have a good dealer. I don't think weed is stronger than some from back then, unless you're buying some really good buds for pipes. I'very heard that Skycloud Kandy Pens are good Koff koff.

Anyone heard whether we'll get to see 281129's "report card" from Estrella? Or do you think the County Attorney is going through it to see if there's other possible charges to file against her?

Murder charges for sex offender in case of missing sisters

"WHEATON, Md. (AP) — Authorities on Wednesday announced first-degree murder charges against an imprisoned sex offender in the disappearance of two sisters from a suburban Maryland mall in 1975, bringing some clarity to the baffling case that made parents question whether to allow children out of their homes alone.
Twelve-year-old Sheila Lyon and 10-year-old Katharine Lyon walked from their house to the Wheaton Plaza Mall in March 1975. They never came home. No bodies were found..."

Oh my .... that must have been so terrifying for you, waiting to know if he was all right. I am so sorry that you were so close to this horrific event. If it is not too hurtful for you, may I ask if you lost anyone you knew? I pray not, but it sure touched so many. I did not know how close you are to this. I am sorry, Y/N.

I thought there was some contributing to minors w/ the web convos? And possible charges for the individuals who falsified their identities to get face time w/ "it"?

Other than that, I was curious about any infractions 281129 had while being a guest at Joe's Palace. :floorlaugh:

Hi Bernina , that's it. She also had a "to do" with another inmate years back if I remember right. That's when they put her in a cell alone. All that goes against behavior. :jail:

P.S. Doesn't Juan look oh so happy?
