Ready for a late night giggle?
Jose started a discussion on Amazon on May 8, 2012 under the name Ron Manta. The title of his discussion thread?
Haters who don't have a life post here.
His first post on that thread?
He is just doing his job and this will be the only insider book about the case. All haters need to get a life.
I wonder how Casey feels about that? Does he realize that what he is saying is that no one else, including Casey, will be writing an "insider" book about the case?
Well, I think after the lukewarm-at-best reception JB's book got, any thoughts, even an inkling, of an FCA book being published by ANY kind of publisher have flown the coop, I don't see an FCA book on the horizon unless completely self-published. I think even MORE people would jump on the negative bandwagon against an FCA book, posting more poor reviews and negative discussions in that Amazon forum. Look at the beating JB is taking on Amazon, 2.6 stars, can you imagine the onslaught if it was for a book written by the felon herself?
Wonder if JB's book was also used to "take the temperature" of the general public, one year later, to see if maybe some of the public outrage had died down, in case even BenBella was considering publishing an FCA book, them or another "boutique"-type publisher. I think NOT at this point, after seeing how JB's book bombed and all the negative reviews/ratings. I think an FCA book would cause even more outrage than JB's book did. and even if self-published, FCA would still have to sell it on Amazon as that is where it would get the most sales. Can you even IMAGINE what would go on on Amazon for an FCA book? Oh the Customer Images, I imagine at least 100 :floorlaugh:
I'm still waiting for the CA tome from her trial writings and I am sure she kept many journals in hope of a big publishing payday, I actually think she could get a reputable publisher to publish her book. I think it would do better than the JB book, I would have to see the tone of her book, what "spin" she would put on this whole thing, no way would she tell the truth IMO, so I wouldn't believe a word in it, but I think the general public would be more receptive of a CA book than the JB book, the grieving grandparents and all for the soft-hearted who don't know all of the trial discovery and cover-ups. Too bad I can't believe a word she says, as I would actually like an honest truthful book telling what FCA was really like as a child, with an honest description of CA's childhood, early marriage, GA's background, etc., what REALLY went on in that household, what it was REALLY like losing their granddaughter at the hands of their daughter, sitting through the trial, an honest book from CA would be very interesting, but, again, I expect nothing but half-truths and mis-truths and non-truths from everyone in that family, so I won't be buying it if she is selling it. Too bad they can't tell the truth. They have to keep the myth alive that FCA is a normal woman whose child died in an accidental drowning for FCA's sake, so they will NEVER tell what really happened, NEVER.
IMO, MOO, etc.
