And I needed to convince him to take me out to dinner. ITS MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND! Jose's book was NOWHERE to be found. I asked and she said that they had a few copies in stock but they stopped displaying them because people were hiding them...

I lost it right there.

I bought enough wine for EVERYONE!

ETA: After you lost it did she ask you any questions or did she laugh with you. I really want to know her reaction. Ahhhh too funny!

She was too busy on a phone call to react. There is one cashier who is a hoot who I am gonna go back in a few and get her take on it.

Baez had an interview in Miami with the CBS affiliate. More of the same, but also this quote.

We turned the conversation to George Zimmerman, accused of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman approached Baez for representation, but Baez did not take on the case.
“No one should read into that, meaning if I thought he was innocent or guilty or anything like that, but I’m just not at liberty to say any more,” he said.

HUH? Listening to GZ's jail calls and reading about the SH connection, it is out and about that GZ turned HIM down. As with Casey, JB is spinning the story.

Just to remind those who are taking a hit for the team and reading the book, there is more than one person in the case who has a fantasy world.

I think you are right on with this. I fully expect Casey will turn on JB at some point. And he will then *remind* everyone that she is "mentally ill" and "a liar."

That book has seen it's day. Well, it really never saw it's day, did it. I see it doing no better no matter how many book signings he does. IMO the book signings are only going to infuriate more people. He has a lot of gall doing the one coming up in Florida where a majority of the people had the trial in their face every day and saw his antics. Does he not remember the people standing outside that court when the verdict came in. They were not happy campers. All the luck in the world is not going to help that book from recovering from the downfall.
 
If I were to attend a Baez booksigning, or any other event with him present, I would need duct tape over my mouth. Some days I come close to needing it over my fingers here to keep from typing what I really wish I could type.

Oh, It's really not worth getting bothered over him. KC will be the ruin of him.

Hate much? It was the thousands and thousands of of discovery, The A's lies and the 31 days that formed that opinion and IMO she still got away with murder. Enjoy the book signing, But I strongly doubt you will have much company there.

ETA! She would have been rightfully convicted.
 
The supporters are getting desperate writing more 5 star reviews with absolutely nothing in them.

Wow - Baez must be feeling like "The Man" this morning if he has looked at his book sales with Amazon worldwide.....

Including his June pre-release sales and the July rush to get this much-touted tell all of he has written....

His Total Number of Books sold WORLDWIDE IS:........892

Now that's really something he should write and tell his Momma about!!:floorlaugh:
