Poor thing.

Morally speaking, though, I suppose some of us, even in desperation, would try asking before stealing.

And then we might limit our stealing to necessities of life, rather than bras and beer.

A person might steal in desperate circumstances which could make it without malice. However, as you pointed out, how many beer and bra emergencies actually happen in one's life.

The crap in the book and the verbal vomit by Baez in the media now is all designed to make him look like a very smart lawyer, and pointing fingers at others as villains in the book and in the media is designed to sanitize Casey for her soon to be scheduled media blitz.

I hope when she finally comes out, the whole world ignores her. I hope the masses consider her old news, and go out and do something productive or fun instead of tuning in to hear "her story."

Gosh AZLawyer - you just don't understand - I mean FCA only had darned nearly everything she needed from her parents including her car and everything she needed for her child - and I mean geez - you didn't have to be so hard on her to actually expect her to get a job and earn her own money did you? :what:
When she was so exhausted from all that night life - night after night?

This brilliant quote is from when he is describing the trial. So I guess (who ever really knows with this pile of steaming carp) he is referring to Amy testifying. OR it could be that Amy had the audacity to press charges against the evil b...errrr...witch.

It wasn't Amy that pressed charges....it was Bank of America. Amy had to agree to let them so she could get reimbursed for the fraud compliant that BOA would file against KC. So it's really not Amy KC's mad at, it's BOA. How dare they bring charges when they never pursued the money she stole from her grandfather's account which was also BOA. So JB didn't even get that right. And Amy received a subpoena for the trial. What is JB suggesting that Amy lie while under oath. Is that what best friends do for someone who cleaned out your account? Or maybe KC expected a thank you card from Amy for spending all that money so that Amy did not have to. Someone go get those drinks and bring them back to the sidebar now before I implode. jmo

Okay, still trying to slog my way through this waste of paper, and just had to share this brilliant quote from the book.

"I have to say I never liked Amy. Yes, Casey stole some of her checks and cashed them, but that's no excuse for her stabbing her supposed best friend in the back."

Really? REALLY?

Don't you know that was just a big misunderstanding according to Cindy Anthony?

And now Baez is joining that train. Maybe 400 bucks is a misunderstanding to them, but dear GOD, not to me. Somebody steals that much money from me, they'll be lucky if it's just the bank that goes after them!

So, so, soooooooooo glad I am not reading his stupid book.

Oh, oh, oh! I just remembered something else I read last night that I wanted to share with everyone.

JB was talking about when the prosecution was playing the first call home from jail.

"From a defendant's standpoint, it was terrible. She sounded cold and heartless. All these people were trying to find out what happened to Caylee, and she's being *****y (ETA: witchy with a b) with them. The prosecution used the tape to bash her at trial.

I was sympathetic to Casey's trauma, but still, hearing her sound so heartless was infuriating. While it was being played I leaned over and said to her, "If this jury doesn't kill you, I will.""

I want to know why he hasn't made good on that promise.

You know what kills me here? If she sounded cold and heartless, then she WAS cold and heartless. It amazes me that people like Baez just ask like it was the mean ol' state that made her look bad. No, you idiot, CASEY MADE HERSELF LOOK BAD!!!! He didn't know she was like that until that moment? Give me a break. It's never her fault, always someone else's, even when it's her own words in her own voice!!!!

And of course, he didn't follow through. He thought he was going to make millions off of this cold and heartless client of his. :banghead:

I think they expected Amy to lie in court. I would not be too surprised if it were to come out that they approached Amy (like I believe they did with the family) with such a request and she refused, so they considered her not a good friend, one who stabbed poor Casey in the back by testifying against her.

Good morning everyone :-) I just checked Amazon and all the images are gone :-( Anyone know what's up?

Can someone who has the book handy please tell me what are on pages 5,78,74,79 and 80. I'm trying to figure out if the pages deal with the following:

Page 5 ~ The chief investigator for the medical examiner makes a statement about the duct tape.

Page 78 ~ Cindy testified that the family buried their pets with blankets in trash bags with duct tape closing the bags.

Pages 74 and 79 ~ Lack of evidence of heart sticker on duct tape.

Page 80 ~ Dr Spitz testimony about the lack of "proper" autopsy done on Caylee by Dr G.

Thanks in advance! Trying to figure out if the yahoos are using "the book" as proof or not.

Could they be using Kindle page numbers????

Thanks ANJ, I didn't think about Kindle. So does anyone have the Kindle version available to look up the above pages and let us know what is on those pages? TIA

Grammie, images are still there on mine. Try again and see if they show for you.

What I find strange is that several times in the book he talks about how he thinks Casey is a fruit loop, like when she told him the Zenaida story and then said that someone in the prison walked by her cell with a sign that said Timer 55...lol...sorry but that still makes me laugh, yet he wrote this book like he believed everything she told him, ie: I didnt kill her, my dad molested me etc....did he think she was crazy or not? In my opinion, if he hadnt needed FCA's permission to write it, he probably would have gone the oher direction and said he knew what she did...think he could never be accountable for it since the trial is over and would have probably made more money with the truth IMO

Oh BTW peeps...Baez mentionned Websleuth in this book, I knew he was reading it while building his defense

Jose was never going to admit to the truth in the book even if he didn't need Casey's approval. Jose thinks that he did a masterful job during the trial. Jose did things bordering on unethical before, during and after the trial. Jose will never fess up to any of that. Jose is like Casey, two peas in a pod.

MOO

Amazon has glitches from time to time. Give it some time to see if things get worked out before deciding something is up. I do not think anyone can get another person's image deleted just for the asking. There would have to be a reason for Amazon to act on such a request and the image would have to meet some specific on Amazon's "do not do" list to be removed. Amazon encourages customer images.

Although most of my books are purchased for the kindle, I use an app on my phone and computer so and not 100% sure if they're the same or not. However, on my kindle apps, there are no page numbers. It merely gives location numbers that point to a certain point in the book.

Wouldn't that be witness tampering? I doubt if Amy's attorney would have let that slide under the rug. jmo

Even that moron could tell she was cold and heartless. But I guess the point was lost on the P12. I guess they were so worried about desserts and special breaks they couldn't be bothered with discerning the felon's INhumanity.

JB was horrific to Amy on the stand - asked her if she was jealous of OCA and tried to alleged that Amy then dated Tony L and Ricado M after OCA did, i.e. sloppy seconds and trying to copy OCA - As if....

He also wrote that Laura Buchanan was a stand up gal, http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20030212-504083.html, and that former OC Sheriff Cain was railroaded. Maybe he writes this crap just to rile people up? who knows?

It seemed to me that his book was mostly written to right any and all perceived wrongs done to him or his BFF OCA, and Amy was just another log on that pity party fire. Amy surely rose above these two losers, and I would hope that OCA and JB are nothing and nobody to her now.

Amy conducted herself with grace and dignity in what had to be a most difficult time in her life. It was a joy to see what a beautiful swan Amy turned into, while OCA had to sit there and listen, in her lowered chair, with her usual duck face scowl.

But I will say that I don't think Amy has to worry about her stellar reputation being sullied given that JB has sold so few books - what is he up to now LG? 10?

Right. But then I consider all that was let slide in this case and really nothing would surprise me anymore, except some power-that-be coming along and righting some of the wrongs. That would hit like a lightning strike.

FaerieB,
In the book does Jose claim that paternity tests of George and/or Lee were never released to the public? That they were sealed? Paternity of Caylee that is.

Jose writes in his book: "Melich also gave testimony to finding hairs similar in color and length to that of Caylee in the trunk of the car. This is also not uncommon because the human head sheds between one hundred and two hundred hairs a day. If Casey had taken Caylee's sweater and put it in the trunk, her hair easily would have transferred to the trunk. Or Casey could have Caylee's hair on her clothing from dressing her and then gone into the trunk to retrieve something, transferring the hair in the process. Put simply, every trunk has hair in it. Melich failed to mention that Casey's hair, and even animal hair, was found in the trunk 🤬🤬🤬 well, but no one was accusing Casey of throwing her cats in the trunk."

The cats weren't 'missing'!! How can he be so stupid....
