Shotzy, I look at this way. If Jose had half the brains that his fans and himself claim he has then he would have never taken on the Casey Anthony case to begin with. Any form of depression or financial problems he may now have is strickly on his head. He could have said no to taking the case, he didn't. He has no one but himself to blame.

So...I can't possibly read everything I've missed on this thread lol...but has anyone pointed out to the Amazon 5-star people that the "fool-proof suffication" search was at 2:50 pm (not 1:50) and directly after Casey (not George) logged in to AIM? And that the "gardening site" that was clicked on was one of the results for the "fool-proof suffication" search, not some "gardening search" that George went off on after getting over his 1-minute impulse to kill himself?

:bump: for Azlawyer. I am not very good with the time lines. Possibly someone who better understands them can post over there. It's been really quiet at amazon today.

I did bring up the 2:50 search that was in between looking/signing into Myspace and Facebook on Amazon. I asked how George could have done it since he was at work at 3:00. Of course all I heard was crickets from "them" though.

Yep, Jose, glad you finally learned that. The SunShine law does work against immoral lawyers and their clients. And so do those posters sitting behind their computers ~ with and without cats!

How can one person be so shallow as to think that revealing substantiated, unbiased facts would work against justice? There may be only 12 people who decide if a criminal goes to jail or not but the SunShine law assures the public that we do have the right and means to have an input that may have an impact even more potent than jail time.

Give us the facts, the details. We, as a public, are pretty reliable. We don't like to admit our citizens are criminals. We would love for all Americans to be heros. But if the facts, when they are publicly available, indicate otherwise, then don't be such a wuzzie that you blame the release of the facts for the public (or people sitting behind their computers) finding your client guilty. Blame your client.

"Public-record law" has no need to bow to anyone; the facts should be available to all.

None of JB's objections to the Sunshine Laws apply to the ignorant uninformed jury who decided this case but they do hit his hip pocket since no one who has read any of the public records is buying his manipulative self-serving spin, so I am assuming that is the true locus of his discontent.

Imagine that...a dog being able to know the score while 12 jurors were hoodwinked.

Aaah always so eloquent and gifted in speech, NOT...the man is in desperate need of a Public Speaking and Etiquette course.

The Sunshine Law and Public Records laws have to do with Open government, with Transparency in Government, with Accountability in Government..
Baez is advocating that government records in regards to all trials in the State of Florida be kept Secret?

If he is so concerned with a person's right to a fair trial and the the Florida Constitution violates that somehow then he should stop going on the media circuit spewing hot air and put his money where his mouth is.
But I will venture a guess and say he'd rather go in front of a media camera and do an interview.

IMO, this is one main reason why his book has tanked; his buying public, made up of people who followed the trial and cared about what was done to Caylee, not offender whats her name, had to listen to him and the rest of the DT for 3+ year, and we remember it. Then, once it was known that nothing of any relevance was in his book - it quickly began it sales decent. It will never go back up, never. The show is over, take a final bow JB and then exit stage left.

He is textbook in his projection onto others the truth about himself.

The man could benefit greatly from some intense, long term therapy. I am not kidding when I say that.

The fact that he clearly sees those issues in his former client yet fell for her insanity hook, line, and sinker shows just how deeply his issues go.
