Floridas public-record law needs to bow to a defendants right to a fair trial, he [Baez] said. Some woman sitting behind her computer with nine cats knows more about the case than anybody."
Yep, Jose, glad you finally learned that. The SunShine law does work against immoral lawyers and their clients. And so do those posters sitting behind their computers ~ with and without cats!
How can one person be so shallow as to think that revealing substantiated, unbiased facts would work against justice? There may be only 12 people who decide if a criminal goes to jail or not but the SunShine law assures the public that we do have the right and means to have an input that may have an impact even more potent than jail time.
Give us the facts, the details. We, as a public, are pretty reliable. We don't like to admit our citizens are criminals. We would love for all Americans to be heros. But if the facts, when they are publicly available, indicate otherwise, then don't be such a wuzzie that you blame the release of the facts for the public (or people sitting behind their computers) finding your client guilty. Blame your client.
"Public-record law" has no need to bow to anyone; the facts should be available to all.

AT LEAST HE FINALLY ADMITS WE KNOW MORE THAN ANYONE - INCLUDING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I'm awake and pondering: Since Caylee's death has finally been "confessed" to be an "accidental" "drowning" that "snowballed out of control" due to "sexual abuse" and "ugly coping," -- and since FCA has been found NOT GUILTY and is off the hook and a free woman now --
WHY hasn't FCA sincerely apologized to Yuri Melich, John Allen, OCSO, FBI, Tim Miller, Zenaida, Universal Orlando, all the searchers, all her poor friends -- everyone who got dragged into the circus/aka/"dog-and-pony-show" caused by the lies she told about Caylee going missing after being dropped off with Zanny?
Wouldn't it make sense at this point, now that the the "truth" about Caylee's fate has finally been "revealed" -- that FCA would be tormented by guilt and shame, and would feel compelled to express her deep remorse for the many, many good and hard-working and innocent people who were harmed and inconvenienced -- whose lives were disrupted -- by her lies?
Yes, that would make sense. *IF* it were an accident that is, and not a murder.
Nope, no apology. Not to anyone.
Surprise surprise. :banghead:
Not that it would be sincere nor truthful, but she has a couple of civil lawsuits against her that would love for her to admit fault in leading them on. Besides, IMO, she honestly believes that she can continue lying and her handlers are making her think she can get away with anything. Let her think that - keeps the door open wide for KARMA to come in and settle the score.
Baez M.O in the court room is Trial by Ambush so it's not wonder he is against Transparency in government records, against Open Government record laws.
JB could be right. Had there been no Sunshine Laws a jury might have been picked that could have put two and two together and found her guilty instead of one that did not even understand jury instructions. IMO the Sunshine Laws did nothing but help his case so why is he complaining. Oh, yes......those ladies with the cats were able to see through all the smoke and mirrors and actually paid attention to those items presented in evidence. JB admitted in open court he does not know what actually happened but he does know Caylee had duct tape on her face and he does know what his client is capable of. jmo
Anyone notice jb has sold exactly 23 books and 23 kindle so far in august...hmmm a little suspicious. Its hard for me to believe he is selling any?
Wonder if these are buy backs?
