“Florida’s public-record law needs to bow to a defendant’s right to a fair trial,” he [Baez] said. “Some woman sitting behind her computer with nine cats knows more about the case than anybody."

Yep, Jose, glad you finally learned that. The SunShine law does work against immoral lawyers and their clients. And so do those posters sitting behind their computers ~ with and without cats!

How can one person be so shallow as to think that revealing substantiated, unbiased facts would work against justice? There may be only 12 people who decide if a criminal goes to jail or not but the SunShine law assures the public that we do have the right and means to have an input that may have an impact even more potent than jail time.

Give us the facts, the details. We, as a public, are pretty reliable. We don't like to admit our citizens are criminals. We would love for all Americans to be heros. But if the facts, when they are publicly available, indicate otherwise, then don't be such a wuzzie that you blame the release of the facts for the public (or people sitting behind their computers) finding your client guilty. Blame your client.

"Public-record law" has no need to bow to anyone; the facts should be available to all.

ETA: I would be so proud if someone here at WS has posted that they had 9 cats!

Baez M.O in the court room is Trial by Ambush so it's not wonder he is against Transparency in government records, against Open Government record laws.

So, I'm awake and pondering: Since Caylee's death has finally been "confessed" to be an "accidental" "drowning" that "snowballed out of control" due to "sexual abuse" and "ugly coping," -- and since FCA has been found NOT GUILTY and is off the hook and a free woman now --

WHY hasn't FCA sincerely apologized to Yuri Melich, John Allen, OCSO, FBI, Tim Miller, Zenaida, Universal Orlando, all the searchers, all her poor friends -- everyone who got dragged into the circus/aka/"dog-and-pony-show" caused by the lies she told about Caylee going missing after being dropped off with Zanny?

Wouldn't it make sense at this point, now that the the "truth" about Caylee's fate has finally been "revealed" -- that FCA would be tormented by guilt and shame, and would feel compelled to express her deep remorse for the many, many good and hard-working and innocent people who were harmed and inconvenienced -- whose lives were disrupted -- by her lies?

Yes, that would make sense. *IF* it were an accident that is, and not a murder.

Nope, no apology. Not to anyone.

Surprise surprise. :banghead:

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

AT LEAST HE FINALLY ADMITS WE KNOW MORE THAN ANYONE - INCLUDING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

my snip

THAT WAS WHAT I SAID!! usually anything JB says gives me that warm and fuzzy  feeling but this one only had me cracking up.

he's spinning as always, without us he'd have had no defense at all....and we know it...and HE KNOWS WE KNOW.

he plays most of the time about how no one really knows the facts of this case blah blah but then turns around and says this? because he knows that we DO know all the facts and he resents us sooooo much, it is so clear from what he's said about us over the years.

then he plays like the circus atmosphere was because of us...? yeah right, tell yourself that JB....only you and I know the truth there too....it was your heartless client and her shockingly moronic family....oh, and YOU, who fought the gag order cause there was money to be made off this circus....wasnt there?

ps: I have no cats :) what I have is 2 children....both alive and well, since clearly I am not as "nice" as offender anthony.

Not that it would be sincere nor truthful, but she has a couple of civil lawsuits against her that would love for her to admit fault in leading them on. Besides, IMO, she honestly believes that she can continue lying and her handlers are making her think she can get away with anything. Let her think that - keeps the door open wide for KARMA to come in and settle the score.

I am so looking forward to next January to see what will happen in the civil trial! Whether or not Zenaida wins, there will be Ms. A there to testify. You can be sure Matt Morgan and his crew have the same facts we have. They probably have a lot MORE facts than we have!

I am hoping and praying that her (it's) appeal will have been taken care of by then and there will be no 5th Amendment immunity for her to fall back on.

Perjury can end up with someone in :jail:

Meanwhile, the morning report from novelrank. It seems someone bought back 3 books causing a bounding bungee cord upthwart!

JB could be right. Had there been no Sunshine Laws a jury might have been picked that could have put two and two together and found her guilty instead of one that did not even understand jury instructions. IMO the Sunshine Laws did nothing but help his case so why is he complaining. Oh, yes......those ladies with the cats were able to see through all the smoke and mirrors and actually paid attention to those items presented in evidence. JB admitted in open court he does not know what actually happened but he does know Caylee had duct tape on her face and he does know what his client is capable of. jmo

Well, let's see - JB has once again, mixed things up - you see the expression is a cat has 9 lives, which is 8 more than Caylee had --- but he in his twisted way, decided to 'slam' one of his biggest threats, the bloggers and fumble to a reporter that 'miss-speak' attempting to be :waitasec: funny perhaps? Seems to me the more he speaks the more he shows. The statement analysis of just those few lines in the story last night are profound and telling indeed, IMHO. Kinda like the 'slip' a few weeks back that KC couldn't afford to pay off the jury (someone help me with the exact quote) not that she would ever 'buy off a jury'..........then his associations with prominent people of high funded, deep pocket organizations has me wondering just how corrupt this whole thing might be........... :waitasec::waitasec: .......maybe there is a story after all........might be time to get out the backhoe?

On a brighter note, Amazon (Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #5,125 in Books) this morning has one of my cats reflecting on this all........

Not sure Jose was talking about the actual trial - but IMO the aftermath when he thought he would be a "star" and found he was ......"NOT a Star".....thought he'd get job offers and speaking engagements and big new high profile clients - and the money would come rolling in.

None of that has happened....and no one except a handful accepted that verdict and hailed him as a winner, because of the Sunshine Laws. We, as in the world, knew he was a liar and blowing smoke out of his ermm ear most of the trial. We could read the evidence - we knew he'd pulled off a perversion of justice. He hates us for that.

Now he's done the same thing in his book. Clearly he's the only one who hasn't read the documents or read all the evidence. Again he thought he'd be a star, blah blah blah. Not happening!! Our fault??? Our fault for highlighting his lies and mistruths in his book so it's a flop?? He's kidding - right?

Didn't your momma ever tell you, Jose - you reap what you sow?? Or what goes around comes around? Too deep for you? Surprise Surprise!! Or as you put it Jose - Oh well, oh well...

PS: 5145/19/47 is pathetic! Barnes & Noble-15,317 is hilarious.

:fence:
It's Baez....and you are asking? Guess he can't pull any silly stuff over at Barnes and Noble at 15,317 sales rank today...:floorlaugh:

I wonder, how LOW actually can those numbers go?

Can we actually follow it to 50,000... and wnder what number our friend HAL at OS would like to share with his readers as he seems to have ben responsive to our tweets before (iirc correctly, Strawberry perhaps got him to share some stuff that she shared with him?)

:woohoo:

Im sure jb is keeping it from really falling by making sure it sells at least a few.

Our little buddy Strawberry seems to have abandoned us lately - I know she really suffered through the Penn State scandal - broke her heart...
