I remembered that it occurred close to the school and was the voice of a student with learning disabilities having a disagreement with a staffer and no big deal. I sure don't remember a massive search.....:waitasec:

That's exactly what I remember.

Review cat is over here crying that you like the crab better than him. He said to tell you, not every cat can pee in the shape of a heart and a crab surely can't! LOL:floorlaugh:

I have heard that 9 out of 10 cats can pee in the shape of a heart!

Hi, cant something be done maybe by publisher when they publish someones book as truth and are proven to be liars? If I owned the bookshop I'd place it in with the fiction. This is not truth, not just one mistake the whole book is wrong! He should not be allowed to get away with this. Thank God for all who are posting at A. I did post too. Wonder if he's ready for a 2nd printing.:floorlaugh:

I doubt that but somebody is on a buying frenzy:
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #7,388 in Books

Must be because Logical told him how close to selling 1000 he is!

I don't remember LE helicopters being used at any time in a search for Caylee - do you? Racking my brais....News helicopters - yes...but they don't count...

No, I sure don't. She had been "missing" for 31 days at that point.

We have to be getting to him via him minions but I suspect these are e-books rather than hardcover. It looks like the usual five for today..I've been expecting a massive buy......

I mean why would anyone be buying it now? He hasn't done any appearances of note rather than the one in Coral Gables or whatever - hey maybe Japan is buying a few .....
Clearly they aren't buying them from Barnes and Noble...

Exactly....why? Thirty one days? It's not as if there was a sighting or something...:waitasec: I think he must be confused with the media helicopters flying over the Anthony house or he's being a liar liar skinny pants on fire again...

You are correct LG

And you don't remember a massive search because there wasn't one for this particular incident in October of a child screaming which we did not learn of until it was released in discovery.

2 calls were place to LE about a child screaming

IIRC deputies did walk around on the street behind Hopesprings, 1 or both calls came from that street but LE did not go into the woods.

As it turned out, after speaking to the elementary school officials, it was an autistic child at the school

The only MASSIVE searches were the 2 conducted by Texas Equus Search.

December 2009

In October of the same year, nearby residents reported hearing a child scream "help" in the area near where Caylee's body was later found. The screams were later determined to have come from an autistic child at an elementary school, but police did not go into the woods that October morning because, according to the report, "the ground is very wet and covered in deep water in some areas."

Thank you so much Intermezzo - you are so good about finding information - I looked for about two hours but didn't know exactly when it happened so was scrounging around in docs earlier than that...i do remember the autistic child and the school and the help...but not the when

Yes, something can be done by the publisher. It just so happened that a book on Thomas Jefferson was just pulled by its publisher for its inaccuracies. Now wouldn't that be something if Benbella were to do the same to JB and his "book of lies"?

A best-seller about Thomas Jefferson by an influential Tea Party and evangelical figure has been recalled after the publisher announced on Thursday that it has detected factual inaccuracies in the book.

Now this is interesting. This would be a good comment to put on Amazon. The title could be "Do you think JB's book should be recalled for factual inaccuracies" ???

But we are talking about Benbella for Jose's book. I'm not sure they really care about any factual inaccuracies in his book. They certainly didn't have anyone proofread and fact check before publishing it.

here is the incident report - and its a gigantic NOPE for JB again.

By the time we are done debunking this door stopper, we'll have our own 400 page book.

Thank you zippity!!!!!

The initial responding officers met with the 2 women who placed the 911 calls.

Of NOTE...the women did not live on Suburban Drive or Hopespring Dr, they lived on a street behind Hopespring and this street is a cul de sac or dead end street and does not lead to Suburban Drive.

LE patrolled the area where the women live, they did not enter the south side of the woods.

they heard the children at Hidden Oaks Elementary School which is on the north side of the woods

An sector supervisor decided to call in the Aviation Unit and K-9 unit...IMO a wise decision since there was a missing toddler who lived in the area....

A few patrol units also arrived.

The Aviation Unit did an extensive search of the area by air

The K9 unit patrolled the south side of the wooded area...they were not on the north side of the wooded area along suburban where Caylee's skeletal remains were found.

LE then proceeded to the elementary school to speak with officials there...and that is when they learned the screaming child was a student.

This incident was not reported on local media, I never heard of this incident or LE's response until released in discovery.

But..................but, that would take...........................
INTEGRITY - a concept out of the reach of this motley crew.

Seriously though...the Baez tome should be recalled the same as any defective product would be recalled. At the very least, the publisher should reclassify it as FICTION. And remove it from any other categories where it doesn't fit...true crime reporting it most certainly is not!
